Re: Redskins Mock Draft
According to some, including JP Finlay, he wouldn’t touch Grier with a 10 ft pole in the 1st round. I’m not sold on Haskins either, Jones I like.

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
Lock is a lot like Josh Allen to me last year. Clearly the most physically talented, but can he put it all together. Jury is still out on Allen, probably will take Lock a couple seasons to see how good he can be. If we pick any QB, I'm going in with positive attitude and giving him a chance.

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
Can’t count him out just because of his size, plenty of smaller dudes have had great careers in the league at more punishing positions like RB

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
Agree but those NFL pockets could swallow him up, It will be very interesting to see who drafts him.

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
Yeah I heard him on the Dan Patrick show last week...he sounds like he has no clue what he wants to do. Dan asked him lots of questions, and was nice about it...and his comments made him sound dumb. I get he's not tipping his hat yet, but he had zero response, he could've been much nicer/sharper and just said I'm not going to answer that at this time but he just sat there silent...like he was caught off guard by the questions. I know it has nothing to do with his play on the field...but it was a negative vibe in my opinion.

If he now chooses to play football, can we really trust any assurances he gives the team? What's to keep him from changing his mind? If he plays in the NFL, then the Oakland A's would have wasted an incredibly valuable pick on him and get nothing back in return. And if he's drafted by the Redskins but then later changes his mind, then we could have wasted our 1st round pick (or more, if we moved up to get him) on him and get nothing back in return. There is NOTHING about Kyler Murray as a player that makes me think he's a "sure thing" to be worth of what it would cost to draft him. But when you add the "commitment" issues into the mix, he's just far too risky. There are some teams in the NFL that are positioned to take that kind of risk. We aren't one of them. Due to the Smith injury and cap hit, we don't have the luxury of swinging for the fences with our top draft picks and hoping for the best. We strong, safe picks.

I honestly think his value is not in the 1st rd.....he has dynamic play making ability but he lacks the physical measurables to be taken anywhere in the 1st rd...he's an early to late 2nd round pick at best.... Because of his small size and his severe lack of bulk he's an accident waiting to happen just like RG3....

Re: Redskins Mock Draft
I'm a diehard Sooner as u all know, I've watched every game he played and film . I would pass on Murray, last yr I was all in on Baker , opposite this yr on Kyler. He's electric and he does have a solid arm but as you have said here, does he really LOVE football? Or is he just in it for which team pays more? I'm not sold on him playing long in the NFL.
