Draft Brett Rypien or Will Grier by the 2nd round.

Totally Agree

Seeing the video clips of Brett Rypien he seems to be a good choice as a 2nd Round selection for the Redskins!

Is this expected or unexpected?

Can't be good the injury was 3 months ago already.

If we don't take a QB in this draft I'm going to lose my shit.

Yop, and then, just like the rest of us, you're going to make yourself believe that Case Keenum looked decent that year with Minnesota, that if the injury bug doesn't bite us we may have a chance to win some games, that anything can happen, that our D looked good when healthy, that Guice and AP are back etc... and it's going to be another long season, with just enough hope and belief to make it really painful.

Life of a Skins fan, we all know as the season opener moves closer, it'll be harder and harder to not believe at all.
Heck, I still have hope we find a starting LG, a #1 WR and a decent QB... how weak and stupid am I ?

The LG and WR should be happening in this draft

I'm not falling for anything with Keenum. He is what he is, a journeyman QB who can play well if you have a loaded team around him. Without strong support he's JAG, basically a Rex Grossman type and we've seen how that goes.

Oh I definitely agree.
I'm just pointing out that even know, while it seems this offseason could very well turn out to be a terrible one if some crucial moves aren't made (#whytheFhasn'tScherffbeenextendedyet?) , part of me can already see how I could, and probably will, spin the narrative so, as the season moves closer, I'll sincerely start thinking we have a shot at not being that terrible.

Why in god name do we keep so many injury prone players around on this team? It makes no sense. Its so aggravating to see the same mistakes over and over again by this Front office.

Re: What’s your plan for the Quarterback position?

I am worried that Smith and Colt are both in crutches as of 3/24/19. I don't like the idea of the Redskins trading picks or obtaining an aging Vet. I want us to trade down and draft Parris Campbell in the first, then pick up Ryan Finley in the 2nd. Hopefully, we pick up an extra 2nd or 3rd, then I could justify trading pics for AJ Green or picking up an additional LG, TE, or Receiver.

Finley is a pure pocket passer with comps to Smith, Cousins, and we have seen those types do well in Gruden's system. I'd also draft Rypien or Jackson in later rounds.

Re: What’s your plan for the Quarterback position?

I would take 5 or 6 Qbs in this draft before Tyree Jackson. Kid has a great arm with no accuracy.

Re: What’s your plan for the Quarterback position?

My plan is Keenum and a rookie who is drafted no higher than the second round, unless he happens to be the best player - not just the best QB - available at #15. That's a good enough plan for now, as they will be playing for a lame duck coach.

I'm beginning to think that Alex is definitely done and that Colt may also be done with the NFL because of their injuries.

We need a long term plan to land the Alabama kid as our future QB in the 2020 draft more than we need to trade away assets in order to reach for a QB in this draft.

The problem is, Keenum can manage 6 wins. Tua is going to be a top 5 pick, maybe the #1 pick. Tanking for QB's is hard to do, unless you go Cleveland Browns style and make sure you get that guy.
