There is no such thing as a bounce back week for us. We have trouble in the bye week not taking an L.

Re: Week 1 - Post-game Thread

You mean we weren't tanking when we started 1-5 and lost to the Giants by going for 2 rather than a game tying XP in the last seconds?

Re: Week 1 - Post-game Thread

Chargers LT Rashawn Slater was awesome in his debut. Per
@PFF
, Slater vs. rookie OL:

2nd highest overall grade (73.5)
2nd highest pass block grade (79.9)
2nd most snaps (81)

For 53 of those 81 snaps, he was staring at Chase Young in front of him pre-snap. Zero pressures allowed

When the choice became tank or division title he chose division title. This year that won't be the choice.

If we couldn't stop the Chargers WRs what is Dallas going to do to us? LOL

Re: Week 1 - Post-game Thread

“It was probably the biggest disappointment,” Rivera said. “We had some opportunities, and we didn’t convert them. We had a third-and-long at the end and gave it up.

“That’s probably it right there. It was fourth-and-7, and we thought we had an opportunity to get it pinned. And we ended up with third-and-(16) … and you would like to believe you’re going to convert that. Unfortunately, we didn’t so we have to take a look at that. … We got an opportunity on third-and-real long there, and we didn’t take care of business.”

Rivera and defensive tackle Jonathan Allen said missed assignments, and players doing too much and being out of position, were among the main ills on Sunday. Poor tackling was another commonly cited pitfall.

There is so much hype with Young. He is a good to really good player. Nothing more, nothing less. People calling him this generational player like he was Lawrence Taylor. That was just a joke to me. Still early in his career but I just don't see a great player. I see a good player. He is not better than Dexter. Dexter played BIG on the biggest stage.

Yeah he got outshined by Bosa big time yesterday, among other edge rushers like C.Jones , TJ Watt etc. Sweat even looked better

Re: Week 1 - Post-game Thread

QB needs to be the 1st pick next year. I don't give a fuck who else is available. When the pick rolls around, draft the best available QB.

Re: Week 1 - Post-game Thread

Cosmi got fucking worked. Yeah yeah I know he's a rookie but that rookie could have sat a while and learned behind Moses.

Re: Week 1 - Post-game Thread

Game recap:

Their o-line > our d-line
Their offensive skill players > Our back 7
Their d-line > our o-line
Their back 7 > our offensive skill players
Their coaches > our coaches

Other than that, we almost had them.
