WTF @ Bills post game thread
Ill take the o line argument outta the CY thread and bring it here. It is a problem. Idc what numbers say. Everything on this team except our wr1, te, rb, and punter has been more of a problem than a solution minus a couple guys in the trenches who probably look bad because they are surrounded by clowns and coached by clowns too.

Re: WTF @ Bills post game thread
Matt Ryan has a 70.9% completion percentage with a league low 3.2 yards completed through air ...
this D struggles with QB making quick read accurate throws on short to mid stuff. Im guessing our LBs should be targeted again. |

That's going to be the game plan every week until they figure out how to stop it.

Re: WTF @ Bills post game thread
Press coverage - challenge the WR's at the LOS. Disrupt the timing on these quick passes. Teach our d-line if they ain't getting home - get your god damn hands up. If the timing is disrupted and the qb has to hold the ball longer, well then you can get your pass rush going. In the meantime we gotta disrupt the quick read passes. Every qb knows right know the key is getting the ball out quick.

On the 3rd and 15 watch Jon Allen. That is why you do not pay him 18 million.

TBH He's been the best one so far though.. I agree though, I'm sorry but I'm not paying CY or SWEAT , Mack $$. Ask the Bears how that worked out? Denver with Miller, yeah they are finally good but they have also not played anyone.

Re: WTF @ Bills post game thread
Im demoralized after this showing. I was optimistic our D would show improvement, we have too many good individual players for the first 2 weeks to not be the floor.
---------------- 30th in time of possession at 25:32 mins 1st 3 possessions vs Bills 3 n out punt 3 plays fumble 3 plays int it was 21-0 after our 3rd offensive possession |

WTF @ Bills post game thread
It is demoralizing - yes it’s early in the season but it is clear we are far from contending. There is no team that can’t beat us. That doesn’t mean we won’t win a handful of games, but with what we’ve seen, barring a miraculous turnaround, there are teams we simply couldn’t beat - eg, the Rams, Bucs, and Chiefs. I don’t even see how we’d be competitive with them at this point. It’s hard to remember the last time we had a team that I felt could play with anyone on a given Sunday.
In the 80s, I knew the team was pretty special. I would not have guessed that ~35 years later I’d still be waiting to see that repeat. I have no idea if the current coaching staff is the answer - although I have my doubts about JDR given the poor performance and lack of adjustments. I just hope the season doesn’t become such a shit show that the name change in the off-season ends up feeling like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. Having said that, opportunity in the form of the Falcons knocks. They’re a pretty flawed team too, and we ought to match up well with them (they’re no doubt saying the same about us right now). It really feels like a must win game if the season isn’t going to spiral away completely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Meaningful football. Chief with the constant reminder its only 3 games has helped clear some doom and gloom ... but fuck me man, I want to watch good football. I want to see a defense that disrupts the other teams offense. I want an offense that can click and have an identity. 3 games into the season and already it feels like any other pedestrian boring season for us. Everything is difficult. Horrible 3rd down D. Horrible 3 and out offense. I thought this year wed at least have some fun marching to a .500 or below season. |

Re: WTF @ Bills post game thread
this season derailed at least early on :
1. Loss of Fitz 2. Defense laying a egg This franchise is derailed because: 1. Dan Synder THE END

Re: WTF @ Bills post game thread
The team's performance through the first three games has been abysmal and we were lucky to escape the Giants game with a win. That said the season is dynamic, things change as it goes. I still fully expect the defense to get it figured out, and consistent with Rivera's pattern over his coaching career, get better as the season goes along.
I just hope we're not out of it before it can even make a difference. Dallas looks pretty strong, we'll need to be within striking distance for the divisional stretch at the end.

Another bad loss or two and I can see this season getting really ugly. Like top 5 pick kind of ugly. ATL is going to be code red.
