I think Dallas was above average but im probably splitting hairs because my sanity depends on Howell actually, finally, being a reliable quarterback. |

JB has had plenty of shots. He isn’t good. Not as a starter. Sam would definitely have to get hurt for him to get another shot. With this oline that is entirely possible. |

Re: Around the League Week 1
I said yet but you see all this greatness in two starts?
I bet this time next year this whole team will look different from the front office to the QB to the water boy Everyone is on a prove it deal with the Harris group , unless you wow him you’re gone , he will want his people

I see a quarterback with two starts, two wins, who has had to learn two different offenses and plays behind a bad offensive line. Not sure what you are looking for? Arm strength? Has it. Accuracy? Has it. Mobility? Has it. Toughness? Has it. Poise? Has it. The list of really good or great quarterbacks who weren’t on a trajectory towards the Hall of Fame after two games is as long as the list of quarterbacks who have ever started two games in the NFL. For you to already be betting that he isn’t our quarterback next year is crazy M. I hope to God Harris isn’t Snyder and has a little bit of patience. |

I say his biggest positive to date is he isn't easily rattled; which is a great asset I hope he works out but IMHO the Harris group isn't saying behind closed doors, check off QB1 we are all set there

Of course they aren’t. That would be foolish. Always have to keep options open for any player/position. The positives i see are just what i listed. Arm strength, accuracy, poise, mobility, toughness. He has shown us all that. It has to be consistent of course, and that remains to be seen. Just saying that after 2 starts I’ve seen enough to think that we could be on to something. Taylor Heinekie had zero arm strength. Carson Wentz had zero mobility. That was obvious. There is no obvious weakness to what I see with Sam. He just needs to hone his skills but that isn’t a weakness it is something any rookie quarterback needs to do. Even the greatest ones had to do that. |

Re: Around the League Week 1
I really think every one on this board should be required to liste to Keim before making any outlandish remarks (and that's me included).
On a serious note, it is good to see that a lot of the issues with both Sam and the offensive line are fixable. For the o-line, it is having more experience working together, and for Sam it is fixing those little mistake and not repeat them (as you punch said, all coachable).
