Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
If Walsh, BB or Gibbs came to you in their prime and you told them no because they weren't the greatest then you are all damn fools. I would have gladly taken any of them.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Man, Demeco Ryans is working out well for the Texans. They’re playing a lot better than expected. Seems like a good dude too. Would be great to land a guy like that.

They have a couple weird losses to Carolina and Atlanta. Crazy. They seem to have really figured it out quickly after a slow start. |

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
Accurate - BB the GM needs to can himself after this year. He can still coach though. Obviously he just needs a solid qb to build around, the Mac Jones project ain't working out.

If we had an elite QB like Brady, Warner, or Manning for a few years then BB would be a great fit, similar to what Tampa did with Bruce Arians and Brady. I just don’t see him developing a team right now. |

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
What we need is a Younger BB … they are out there .. However remember he had Brady also .. so the recipe is a Great QB with a Great Coach add in a Solid D and stable ownership and sprinkle in some luck and maybe just maybe you can win a championship… it ain’t easy
Currently we don’t have the coach or the D .. the Jury is out on the QB however it looks promising… The ownership is better than it was but we gotta a long ways to go .. If Sam plays out the year and becomes the guy .. we have the opportunity to go after a new coach/staff get lucky on the draft picks .. who knows we may become seriously competitive… As it is just getting to playoffs is our Super Bowl .. it’s sad |

Wes Phillips grandson of Bum, former Redskins TE coach and current Vikings OC. It would be an intriguing move.

Re: Potential GM/HC/Coaches Thread
I think this is one of those things where Chase isn't wrong, but he has no tact since he is barely 10 minutes out of town and he's already trashing us. Does anybody think Ron and co. prep on the level that Kyle S. and co. do? I don't. I think the culture starts with the coach and Ron/etc. have failed to install the culture the same way Kyle has since he joined the 49ers. Yes, they've lost their last 3 games, but overall the results speak for themselves. I expect to play at or near .500 ball for the rest of the year, maybe be in the playoff hunt at the end but even if we make it this team isn't going deep into the playoffs. Ron and hopefully JDR are done after the year.
