Chris Cooley on his film breakdown after the game. It is one man's opinion but he has forgotten more about football than my eyes know.

Washington tenders Kyle Allen...
https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/w...ision-looming/ No surprise. Side note - all three current WFT QBs were undrafted. |

I would like them to tell us what the average overall for the 32 teams in draft capital as well as the average number of QBs drafted. My guess is the bottom spend a significantly larger chunk. |

Mayhew and Turner are going to Trey Lances pro day. Hope they like him enough to move up

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
It's called due diligence. I'm sure they will be at a few more pro days for QB's. I don't want Lance in round one. You simply can not draft him there. Weak competition and he didn't even play last year. Also has run first instincts. If he is there in round 2 then you think about it. He is a 3rd rounder imo.

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
I just can't believe how excited people can get about Trey Lance. He played one year against lower level competition. Took last year off. And now should be a first round pick ???

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
It’s because he has huge upside. Most thought Mahomes wasn’t good either. Not saying he’s ever going to be that but in today’s QB starved league , guys will always go higher than they should.
Also as Matty will be excited to hear, Cam is staying in NE on a 1 year deal per Rap sheet

Re: WFT Quarterback Thread - Post SEASON 2021
QBs will always be overrated and overpaid and some drafted way too early. Not sure why this still surprises some people. People look at Lance and see the next Josh Allen. Small school, big time upside, very raw and will need to be properly developed. He's got the kind of upside that's worth rolling the dice on in the 1st.

Where do QBs come from part 2: https://www.hogshaven.com/2021/3/11/...me-from-part-2
Pretty good insight into the failures of the bottom 6 teams over the last decade. I particularly enjoy the advice to Ron Rivera if he wants Washington to remain in the bottom 6. |

Of course, doesn't mean you stop rolling the dice though. If you hit you can hit big.
