Re: LOST (Warning: Possible Spoilers)
Okay, I just had some thoughts that I needed to write out before I forget them...
In Locke's dream conversation with the mathematician from the Dharma Initiative the guy said that he'd been dead for 12 years (I'm pretty sure he said 12). But Rousseau and her crew crashed on the island at least sixteen years prior to the 815 crash and there was never any indication that she or her team ever came across any DI people. Did Ben's group really kidnap Alex while they were off living in the jungle, before they took over the island?

Re: LOST (Warning: Possible Spoilers)
Did no one else watch last night?!?!?! Damn you people!
I just had another thought, but I don't know if it's worth much: way back in season 1 Locke said to Jack that he believed that they were all brought to the island for some mystical reason, and that he believed so because "you're [Jack] a man of science and I [Locke] am a man of faith." But we learned last night that when Locke was a teenager he seemed like he was supposed to end up as a man of science, but he was too afraid to accept that because he didn't want to be seen as an outcast. Then later, after his father showed him a quicker alternative to the elevator, Locke claimed that he didn't believe in miracles, even though he probably shouldn't have survived his infancy let alone his fall. I was afraid that there wasn't much left for Locke in terms of a backstory, but it looks like there might be after all. How did he go from being depressed and disgusted by the idea of a man in a wheel chair going on a walkabout to deciding that he could do anything if he put his mind to it?

Re: LOST (Warning: Possible Spoilers)
Just about to bring up this thread. It was a pretty good episode, interested to see how they plan to "move" the island, while the chopper is has pretty much landed on the island.

Re: LOST (Warning: Possible Spoilers)
Can anyone explain the whole time continium thing for me? How did the Doc wash up on shore with a slit throat last week and they are just now slitting his throat this week? If thats the case then what is happening now on the island hasnt happened yet. so confusing....

Re: LOST (Warning: Possible Spoilers)
Yeah its almost as if everyone on the island got there not b/c of accident. I am sure it will reveal that they all play a part in a grand scheme of some kind, like the scientists. We do not know why they were picked based on the nature of their professions. As far as Sawyer giving Miles a restraining order, we have seen alot weirder on that island. It would not surprise me if Claire was just a vision since the only other person who saw her was the guy who can see dead people. He probably woke up and found Aaron who had been there all along.

Re: LOST (Warning: Possible Spoilers)
Seems interesting, I am still perplexed about "moving the island".

On a side note, "moving" the island could be referring to this whole issue of time difference between the outside world and the island. Maybe moving the island doesn't refer to a physical movement at all. Maybe they're referring to shifting it's place in time...

Re: LOST (Warning: Possible Spoilers)
How did they harness the power of the island before Darma put all of those stations there? Was Widmore part of Darma?

I gotta admit, I was shocked when Ben "moved" the island. I thought he was somehow going to shift it's place in time. I thought it was pretty bizarre that it actually physically disappeared into the ocean.

Re: LOST (Warning: Possible Spoilers)
When Ben put that winter parka on and said where he's going it's cold, I thought for sure he was headed to the arctic base from a couple of seasons back where those guys called Penny from.
There were a couple of moments that I was expected some "shocking moment" yet ended up being sort of whatever. When Kearney (the big Rambo dude) was down in the hatch (and not dead), I thought "oh shit, this is some sort of freaky time travel shit going on" but then it was just that he had body armor on. And then when Kate sees Claire in the room with Aaron I was like Woah!...but then it was just a dream...or was it? Overall, I liked it. Didn't compare to last season's season finale though.
