Has anyone mentioned yet that Vinny would have given a third and a fourth for Carriker.

I'm sure they must have?

Things change and teams go in a different direction. What did the SKins give to get JC? And now they are ready to trade him for a pack of juicy fruit. Latest word he may be released.

This is a can't lose trade. I just haven't yet figured out where Carriker was in 2009? Was he injured on the PUP list of on the bench or what? I can't seem to find any facts on him after 2008 when he got injured.

He missed the entire season with a shoulder injury I believe.

Man we should make up any talent differential with just the sheer number of bodies on the first two levels of the defense. I am getting more and more concerned about O-line depth at this point...

The situation along the O-line is getting more worrisome -- how are we going to contest the cowboys' and giants' d-lines, arguably among the top 5 in the league. And Philly isn't exactly shabby. I really hope Shanny and Allen make some play to pick up 3 or 4 quality OLs in the next few months.

Good move by the Skins. I have a feeling more trades are forthcoming put up the for sale sign: Haynesworth, Carter, McIntosh, and Campbell.

If they are able to pick up Jammal Brown, that would be incredible. That combined with either Williams or Okung would give us two tremendous book-ends for the offensive line.

No doubt.. he could play either LT or RT for us depending on what the lineman we draft is able to do

I don't want to give up a ton for the guy though

I think that if we get Brown via trade, then Berry comes into play at 4.
I like the Carriker trade, but yea, it's about time to load up on some Offensive Linemen.

Brown or Bushrod would be great for us to get. Hell if we get either than if we get Okung our OL goes from one of the worst in the league to top ten IMO.

If Shanny has confidence in Stephon Heyer or wants Flozell and trades for one of them, then we get Eric Berry which would be SWEEET

Make no mistake though theres a pretty big talent gap between Brown and Bushrod.

True but they are both proven starting T's and Bushrod would be a great RT and decent/better than what we got LT. Brown is a great LT, much better than Bushrod, but more expensive to get.

^^ yeah...Brown is head and shoulders above Bushrod and one of the better talents in the league. Under Shanny's tutelage, he would go from being very good to great so I could see Brown being an elite tackle at Washington. What the hell, we don't have too many picks left anyways, might as well trade for talent while the getting's good.

My feeling is the Skins will take either Okung or Berry. I wouldn't rule out Suh or McCoy if they traded Haynesworth for a starting LT. In my opinion, those are the only options at 4.

So nobody's buying what KS said about the talent we have on OL right now?
