Re: Around the NFL Week 5
Its really crazy how history repeats itself....The Falcons traded away their stud backup QB and handed Vick a giant contract. The next season he was in prison and the Falcons were in dire straits. Fast forward to last off season. The Eagles traded away their stud backup QB and handed Vick a giant contract. I do not forsee him in prison again anytime soon, but what happens to the Eagles when the man they put all of their faith into lets them down? Looks like Philly will be rebuilding soon and it looks like once again, Vick will be the catalyst for that.

Re: Around the NFL Week 5
I dont see this as being on Vick,he's made a few mistakes but hes had dropped passes and richochets for int's and fumbles
It wouldnt surprise me a bit to see it all come together for them when they play us

I dont know how recent this picture is, but doesn't have one here. He sure has enough hair to rock one if he wanted though.

Re: Around the NFL Week 5
From my understanding, the 49ers use 'Los in more zone coverages than he was used in here. Don't want to make any conclusions, but perhaps that has helped him with the INTs.
Can't rule out good fortune, low sample size and playing better either.

Re: Around the NFL Week 5
As we have seen it's hard to break the "joke of the offseason" team, with all the yrs we spent and thought we'd take the division. But.... it's nice to see another team having done what we did with great disapointment as well. lol. I'm not sure what's funnier the fact the team is doing so bad or the fact everyone to include the fans and media thought this was their year, the "dream team" and it was a failure (buying a championship) like it has been for the Skins for 10 yrs. |

Re: Around the NFL Week 5
I don't know I always thought he was good Man-to-Man but sucked in Zone coverage which is where he would get beat every other play. Hall is more of a Zone coverage player but sucks Man-to-Man.

Re: Around the NFL Week 5
Sure, he is a better man corner, but perhaps being in zone more reduces variables for Los so he can focus more on the ball when it comes his way?

And since I live in CO I feel the need say something about Tebow. The fans here are like rabid minks wanting Tebow to start. Orton is the butt of all the jokes, and if Jesus Christ himself were to walk on and go under center, he would be booed. Tebow has big play ability but lacks fundamentals. Remind you of anyone? *cough*Tony Romo*cough*. I forsee the Broncos winning some good games on some insane plays. The thing to watch, however, will be whether or not he revels in it and accepts his role, or commits to the film room and being a better QB.

Re: Around the NFL Week 5
Maybe the Falcons shoulda drafted defense instead spending all their picks on Julio Jones
