I thought they weren't going to because Jordan Shipley couldn't make it....

But seriously, did they actually meet? Last I heard they were going to, but then I went to watch Lin and the Knicks embarrass the Wizards so I didn't ever follow up

Yeah, unfortunately I had watched that game too. The meeting however I was told was taking place around 11ish at night.

I would assume they're both close for the most part, you might have a little more, I might, but I'm sure we're both in the same ballpark.

Yes. It'll be the same as Atogwe last year. He should be able to sign with a club immediately upon getting cut.

Re: QB Apocalypse: The Seventh Sign

Here's the next question really once PM is release.

When do you sign him?

The main thing right now is the nerve regeneration and his throwing strength. You can't have draft plan thinking you'll sign him after the draft and because he could decide to go elsewhere, leaving you stranded. So do you sign him prior to the draft even knowing his nerves haven't regenerated yet? I understand it'll be a incentive laden deal, but even so, it's still risky. So do you just roll into the draft without Peyton in your plans, and then sign him in May/June?

I'm glad I'm not having to make this decision.

Well I'd say you sign him immediatly if possible only so he can start learning the new play calls for his new team. Secondly your gunna want to get him on some form of rehab schedule. Hopefully it's Vet min. with a ton of incentives but it has been mentioned here before that he probably won't accept that. I'd imagine some decent contract that has an out if he can not start come Sept.

That isn't happening. I'm sure it'll be a favorable contract for both sides, with it being incentive laden, but it definitely won't be Vet min. McNugget on the other hand will be lucky to get a vet min deal.

you sign him in the first 3-7 days or someone else will already have him... his arm strength may be total crap this year, but thats the chance you're taking... you figure if he was ready to go the colts would just keep him unless he insists on them not taking luck.

He's Petyon Manning. You sign him ASAFP or someone else will.

You guys should visit my Youtube channel. I create several Redskins highlight videos.
If any of you watched a Ryan Kerrigan, Roy Helu, and/or Fred Davis 2011 highlights video, that was me!

Could be good for the skins IMO. Still get Peyton on an incentive deal but enough uncertainty surrounding his availability that they still need to be aggressive about getting a QB in the draft also. Win-Win...
