Not at all joking, it looked poor from an organization standpoint. First playoff game in 10 plus year and you want to show off Fed Ex. It was a joke and not good for an already gimpy QB.

Still, he's gonna run when he has to, he just needs to continue to be smarter about getting down or out of bounds.

People said the same thing about Vick not lasting, 11 years later he's still here.

I don't have a problem with them running him within the offense. I have a problem with RGIII's inability to slide or simply run out of bounds. He did that shit again tonight. He needs to stop trying to prove his toughness and slide so he can go the next play down. (or series)

I wouldn't use Vick as an example. He lasted 11 years, but you also couldn't depend on him either. He missed 4 games in 2010, and 3 in 2011, and added that to the games he missed this year with injury.

Those games matter. Especially at the end of the season and you win/lose a conference by 1 or two games. Need our QB to remain healthy.

Point is he's lasted much longer than most thought he would early on, and he was a true running QB.

RG3 isn't going to run nearly as much as he did and is 10x the passer too.

He's going to be fine.

Helu should take care of number 4. BW comes back and Bernstine. Maybe an answer there. I like Crawford n Paul at pr/kr. RT and secondary. Fred Davis, Rak, and Carriker. Depth here n there. Im really curious about RG-3 injury. Its got my thoughts of a brite future dimmed just a bit.

I agree...the Football Field at FedEx field has been crappy since the stadium opened.

We need one of those Next Turf Fields

Not Satisfied And Neither Should You

Everyone is so happy to just call this a successful overachieving season and how much we accomplished with injuries. I for one am not satisfied, however this is innexscusable. Seattle WAS NOT the better team and You dont score 14 points early in the 1st quarter and not score again at home without calling it bad coaching. Morris had 60 yards on 11 rushes in the first half yet you go away from him. You clearly see your QB limping on 1 leg in the FIRST quarter yet mike thinks he'll be able to finish the game effective and keep him in.3rd and 10 and 3rd and 12 the defense cant get off the field. Sad,because in a playoff game when you are up 14 -0 at home and you have momentum from the crowd to keep running it down their throats and control the game, the coaches lay down and are satisfied with a 14-13 lead for most of the game which we all knew the inevitable. It never clicked in the coaches heads that this is the playoffs and losers go home. I am not satisfied or happy because this game should have been a win. This game to me was easier than Dallas, Bmore and NY Giants however we played down to Seattle, got conservative and gave the game away.

This really doesn't need to be its own thread.

Well for one, Dr. Andrews is on the payroll for the explicit purpose of treating injured players. Everyone in the stadium knew that RG3 had gotten hurt when he came off the field in Baltimore. Dr. Andrews has to go find him. It's not up to RG3 to seek Andrews out.

Secondly, Shanahan probably asked some other coach/staff member on the sideline something to the extent of "Check on Robert (while I actually, you know, coach the game)". Few minutes later..."What's up with Robert?" Asst Coach: "Says he's fine."

"ok"

In other words, Shanahan probably left it up to others, including Dr. Andrews, to update on the status of RG3 while he tended to the game. Someone, someones, gave him the assurance RG3 was good to go and he went with it.

You answered your own statement, with an injured QB, we could only do so much. You can only grind Morris so much before you have to pass and RG3 wasn't getting it done. That knee nagged him to the point where his passing was, pretty terrible. Maybe it's RG3's fault for being stubborn and staying in when he should've thrown in the towel, maybe it's Shanahan's fault for not pulling RG3 at half. But we had to play conservative to protect an already injured QB.

I think we should've won and possibly could've if Cousins was put in at the half but, it is what it is.

I can believe this scenario happening. The bold part I've highlighted concerns me and something that Skinzman brought up here.

http://www.thewarpath.net/redskins-l...tml#post984144

It was a very valid point and something that needs to be addressed. Seems like failure all the way around. Dr. Andrews in the Dec 10 game, and Mike in this game. Hell, listening to Dr. Andrews and his concerns about the knee, you have to worry about why he was even playing to begin with. (understand he passed the tests)

I feel like we can 2nd guess this crap to death, in the end though it doesn't overshadow the fact we had a damn good season. I'm already moving on and getting ready for the offseason. Bring on free agency and the draft!
