It's pretty funny to see trump give it to fox. Apparently roger ailes is completely going insane over trump saying no. And now trump is ruling the news cycle...

I'm not for trump, but his folks running this campaign are pretty smart

It is encouraging to see a candidate say FU to the establishment.....He's either insane or has no fear. Either way...highly entertaining.

Says a lot about the state of the Republican party. The last Bush really fucked it up, caused a lot of division.

Not wanting a ton of discussion on this, but does anyone personally know a Trump supporter? He's high in the polls, but it's like people don't want to admit they support him. EVERY ONE I talk to (working at an extremely conservative University) thinks he's fucking nuts. By now, I would have thought I'd have seen a sticker, a shirt, a hat, but nothing. Anyone met one? If so, did they give any rational reason as to why?

It's a lot of that, also I think people are fed up with the same crap political process. They want a true outsider.

I think trump is really a salesman, ultra competitive and willing to say whatever to ge the job.

I dont see a lot of honesty

I have some friends that are voting for him only because they think he can beat the democrats.
They refuse to vote democrat because they want to associate themselves with wealth and god.
Funny thing is, they are drowning in debt and talk shit about everyone in their church.

They also voted for Arnold Schwarzenegger for Governor of Cali.

I don't think Trump is anything other than the next Vlad Putin looking to line his pockets with our money.

I got friends who are lazy and want everything for free and don't think they should pay for any of it. They are Bernie supporters.

I mean come the fuck on...as many people who call trump crazy should look at Bernie. He is just as nuts. Free college, actual free health care, free paid leave to have a baby....fuck him. What has this country become? socialist! Man fuck you Bernie

Re: Republican nominee for President

If a Republican politician candidate doesn't emerge out of tonight's debate then I will likely vote for Trump - if I vote.

Given the potential candidates I don't see how anybody could vote for anyone else:
Clinton: She's a well versed power hungry liar who has made a mess out of every appointee job she's had.

Sanders: Not into making USA the USSA just yet

Bush: Please not another one.

Most of the rest of the Republicans - 4 years of mediocre political hacks running the show.

I think the only politician with any shot that I would support is John Kasich, and I think he would be an excellent President, but the public won't elect him.

One note about Trump, and why I think a lot of voters ultimately will support him if he is the candidate, is his ability to get things done. If he pulls off this event competing with the Republican debate, and gets any major sway from it, that is crazy good given that he had maybe a week or less to get it done.

Anyone who thinks Hillary/Bernie/Jeb/et al are going to change the status quo is kidding him/herself.
