I honestly think all that was going on when McC was there these past few month; now they are starting to put out the flames.

I'd try to get Rich Eisen too, his forty time was pretty good.

Re: Redskins fire GM Scot McCloughan

Given Scot McCloughan’s history, you wondered.

When he arrived at training camp practices, his face red, and not the kind of red that occurs from being in the sun too long, you wondered.

When you talked to him coming off the field after a summer practice and got a whiff of what smelled like alcohol on his breath, you wondered.

Bruce Allen was supposed to be better than Vinny Cerrato:
Bruce Allen’s arrival was hailed as the start of the era of professionalism, and the end of the era of the Clown Prince of Redskins Park, Vinny Cerrato.

During his stint from 2002 to 2009, Cerrato’s record was 52-65.

Bruce Allen’s reign at Redskins Park? A record of 45-66-1.

Stupid to assign the Gibbs years to Cerrato. Those were entirely engineered by Gibbs.

Irrelevant comparison. I hate Bruce but I'll take him all day over Vinny.

can't argue it's been more bust then boom, but we did win 2 division titles in 4 years and the first back to back winning seasons in ages. It's also kind of weird that Cerrato's includes 5 more games?

I don't think most anyone is saying BA is the best ever, but he clearly has had an effect reducing DS direct interference, and hopefully we will find the right combination of a solid GM-Talent guy, a strong HC, and BA .

I just copy and pasted from the story, so I am not sure if the records are correct.
I just thought it was relevant to the blame being laid at SM feet. If SM is going to be harshly judged, then lets judge and grade everyone. Bruce Allen remains and the questions needs to be asked....why?

He is Dans obligatory sycophant. He has attempted to bring in people with GM talent in MS and SM and won a division title with both. Vinny didn'tbring in faux GMs and led a downward spiral ending with a zorny outcome.
