Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Might be in playoffs but another one and done? Last year 7 of top 10 defenses made the playoffs and only Rams, Ravens and Bucs won a game. This is not a recent trend. All the advanced stats are like DVOA are easier to replicate game to game and season to season in offense. If we have an opportunity to make that better I like the risk.

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Looks like when it is all said and done we may be picking quite high so one of the LT or the S from ND (Kyle Hamilton?) would be my preference, and a QB in the second or trade back into the end of the 1st for a QB. If we resign Leno then the need for a LT is less and we could really do with a talented deep safety

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
I'd prefer to trade our 1st for Huntley (Not that I like that idea -but prefer it to using our 1st on any of the 2022 rookie QBs).

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Pickett will be there when we pick most likely.. especially since that is going to be a top 8 pick

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
If we lose out (very likely) we should have a top 5 pick

His completion percentage scares me a bit but don’t really know much. I have looked but haven’t found many advanced metrics for college QBs or film break down of him

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
I wouldn't worry about completion %. To me that is the most useless QB stat. Pickett throws the ball downfield. He isn't throwing 15 wr screens a game like a lot of these college Qb's.

Turner and Zampese, both gifted jobs from daddy’s contacts, will give Snyder a scouting report of veteran QB available. Mayhew and Hurney will give Dan a scouting report of draft able QBs. Dan will be deciding on who they get. My source? 2+ decades of offseason bullshit with this team. |

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
Can’t start next year with Taylor or Allen under center … Wilson,Carr,Rogers, watson( lots of baggage) ..or roll dice on Rookie ? .. I would trade for Carr and pickup a rookie in mid rounds ..

Re: The Too Soon 2022 NFL Draft Thread
We're the only team in the NFL with 6 wins. Picking 9th as of right now.
