there's no way to know, unless you trade the 49ers

still, since we're mortgaging the future anyways, why not? the low first round this year doesn't have great value though.

Isn't one of those picks ours? What, they don't want it now? But they were so confident about how much value that pick would be worth, about how stupid we were to give it up, etc. Now they are going to have to take what they can get looking at next year's value, etc. Suckers. :smashfrea

Packers Pick Pickett

In perhaps the most competitive negotiation Wednesday, the Green Bay Packers beat out the Bills and the Rams for Rams defensive tackle Ryan Pickett.

Seahawks Keep Berry

The Seahawks fought off the Kansas City Chiefs on Wednesday and kept defensive tackle Rocky Bernard by reaching a three-year, $13 million deal that included a $5.4 million signing bonus.

Cowboys | Vanderjagt's agent in contact with team
Wed, 15 Mar 2006 15:51:53 -0800

Tom James, of the Terre Haute Tribune-Star, reports free agent PK Mike Vanderjagt's (Colts) agent, Gil Scott, has been in contact with the Dallas Cowboys.

Giants | Kelly re-signed
Wed, 15 Mar 2006 13:03:58 -0800

Michael Eisen, of Giants.com, reports the New York Giants have announced the team has re-signed free agent OL Lewis Kelly (Giants). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Eagles | McCants signed
Wed, 15 Mar 2006 11:00:18 -0800

The Philadelphia Eagles have announced the team has re-signed WR Darnerian McCants to a one-year contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Harris is going to start for the 49ers i believe, which should instantly make them superbowl favorites. Mccants resigned with philly, which is more a stament to the amazing talents of their WR corp than his individual talent.

cowboys talk to vandy, and with longwell gone, vinetari already getting interest and the lack of such reports linked to the Skins FA, i believe Hall is our kicker of the future at this point. Hope i didn't destroy anyone's dreams with that revelation.

lewis kelly is an OL backup the skins had interest in signing. He's obviously out of the picture, but jeff mitchell (C/G panthers) and R wells (LG cards) could still be possibilities.

I hate to get all annoying about this but...."Re-sign"

I always get thrown off when someone writes "resign" when they don't mean that he quit.

Sorry That Guy
