Re: So Now Who Do You Root For?

I am really surprised by Rivers immaturity! What a tool.

I used to kind of like the Chargers until Norv was handed that team. Turner must be the most undeserving head coach in the entire NFL.
It's hard for me to pull for the Patriots though. I'm actually not too upset that the Colts lost. I wouldn't mind seeing the Chargers and the Packers in the Super Bowl.

Man that sucks. I was really pulling for the Colts on that one and I would've liked to see Dungy go out a winner... If there's any team that would make me root for the Pats, SD is that team. Between Merriman, Rivers, LT and Norv, there's not alot to love on that team. What the hell is up with LT getting whiny on the sidelines every week. He's an awesome player but he's getting pretty damn near diva territory.

Re: So Now Who Do You Root For?

I think this either proves that a lot of people were wrong on Norv, or a lot of people were wrong on the effects of coaching on winning playoffs games in general.

I mean, if Norv can do it, who can't?

I hear ya on that! I think the only reason I'm not too upset over it is because I like seeing somebody different in the Super Bowl each year....especially on the AFC side. Of course, I'm going for the Packers to win it all. Bret Favre deserves to go out a winner.

Yeah, Rivers is a tool. At some point you've got to be at least a little bit mature right? I mean you make millions of dollars to play a game, how about acting like a pro?

Billy Volek led them to victory anyway

Yeah, I thought Rivers was Ryan Leaf for a minute there. I have family in southern California, so I'm leaning towards San Diego. I wouldn't mind seeing Bret Favre win another Super Bowl though.

I still hold to the same thought...any team other than Dallas and the Pats.

Re: So Now Who Do You Root For?

I'm really pulling for a Chargers-Giants super bowl. I really do not like the other three teams.

I refuse to believe that, no one is stupid enough to talk trash like that a second time on National Television except for Michael Vick. It's ok, one day Charlie Whitehurst is going to go from the NFL's best headset wearer to the best LT hander-offer.
