Agreed. Doughty was fine...Sorgi picked on him...but he wasn't terrible or anything like that. Just haters that want John Lynch. LOL.

Dallas Clark and Robinson were eating Doughty alive out there. He had that one nice hit, but he was in position for the hit because he was late getting over to the play, he also totally whiffed trying to tackle Dallas Clark.

What 2nd safety wouldn't Dallas Clark make whiff?
C'mon...his wiffed once...unless I missed something, Doughty was in way better positions to tackle...than say .....smoot...who has like 5 yrs on him.

compare Sweigart to him...he TOTALLY blew that first TD coverage along with Tryon....and pass protection is his freaking job.

Doughty plays strong safety and is mostly supposed to stuff the run....he did way better in pass coverage than the free safety Sweigart...in my opinion

You're right Schweigert was horrible, but Doughty was nothing to shake a stick at either. Sorgi was picking on Doughty the whole time he was out there. Clark wasn't the only one to shake Doughty, Robinson had his way with him a few times as well. We have very good Tight Ends in our division, Doughty can't play against them like he did against Clark and Robinson tonight or it's going to be a long game for him.

I am kinda happy that our backup Dline and LBs are below average....why....because that means the skins may get a vet for both...which is what I've been whining about for months
