Re: Cowboys cut T.O.
I voted no, I maintain no, and I would not ever say anything except no.
BUT Some team will say yes, and when they do their reason will be that TO will play lights out his first season, and they would be right. Then they will say that they have the personnel and staff to keep him happy/calm and they would be wrong! My vote is that he will go to the Raiders, and finish his career there. Re: Cowboys cut T.O.
I didn't even entertain the thought, for two reasons- first off, he's obviously a gigantic malignant tumor in any locker room, and secondly he's 35 years old. His skills are bound to start falling off soon.
I would however entertain the thought if he was 5 or so years younger, despite his me-first antics. Herman Edwards made a great comment about TO on SportsCenter this morning. He said, "you can't marry TO (i.e. long term deal), you can only date him for a year or two." I thought that was funny and right on.

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.
A Dallas reporter was asked if T.O. had failed during his time as a Cowboy. The reporter said that "T.O. had talked about bringing a championship to Dallas when he signed there and he did'nt, so in that regard yes" I'm paraphrasing but let's face it, they didn't even win a playoff game so really, how valuable is T.O.? Not that it all should be on his shoulders, but it's not like they were Detroit when he got there.

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.
I'm betting this is getting to be very humbling to him or I atleast hope so. Yea you may be good T.O. but at some point when you burn too many bridges this is what happens.
PFT mentioned that either he goes to one of the teams left that has not commented whoever that maybe or he ends up with one of the teams who already said no but for a cheap price. Unfortunatly I had already thought of that meaning I hope his agent does not contact Snyder asking for him to do him a solid and hire T.O. on the cheap for a one year deal. I know the Skins said no but the agent and Snyder are always working together in some capacity to either drive up the cost on another player or rework contracts or picking up decent players. |

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.
Where is the vote for "HECK NO!"? Could the person, who put this poll up, please edit it and add the "HECK NO!" option. Thanks.

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.
Really? Almost 12% of people said yes? That's surprising.

Re: Cowboys cut T.O.
From RI:
He says his friend is a waiter there and his friend knows what T.O. definitely looks like…not sure if I believe it though. NEWSFLASH: A good friend of mine works at Old Ebbett's Grill and told me that T.O. was eating there with an unnamed "Redskins official." This is totally thirdhand information but I lost a lot of sleep over it and felt the need to pass it on. Lets just hope he was in the throes of one of his many, many, acid flashbacks when he digested this intel. I really wish i was sh*****g you guys.
