We're a self hating team that values all players on other teams above our own players?

Seriously, there's no need to type in caps. If you want to be taken seriously, all you have to do is make sense when you post. It's not that hard.

This is a BHA argument but with poor punctuation.

Don't worry, the grammar police are asleep though. But now you're not making sense in terms of what you think of JC, other than he's not a franchise QB (and Cutler is, somehow, despite never posting a QB rating at or over 90).

Re: It's Over: Cutler Going to Chicago

Let me come in with a late "Thank god the bears saved us from ourselves."

I was out coaching a youth football practice so I wasn't able to revel in a team out-dumbing the Skins FO. I think the bears gave up way too much for Cutler. Josh McDaniels must be loving it though because he has the very thing he needs to build a team the way he wants...kudos to him.

McDaniels is young and he's managed to walk away with maximum value for someone he wanted to discard. Talk about turning lemons into lemonade. This guy is in his 30's and should be considered a genius just for making teams clamour over a product like Cutler, a QB that was going to be a problem for him.

Hats off to people who actually know what they are doing.

Now looking back on this, as I said earlier, I feel that this was a Snyder tantrum, which Zorn and possibly VC had to go through. I'm glad that it is over, but looking at this from a different perspective, how 'bout that Denver front office? A good friend of mine is a huge Broncos fan and he's in shambles right now. He feels that McDaniels is destroying the franchise.

They got more than Cutler's worth in terms of draft picks, but if they go and waste those picks, then they would probably have just been better off with Cutler.

GTripp is playing the role of Dr. Obvious today.

Re: It's Over: Cutler Going to Chicago

The bears saved us from ourselves two years in a row.
Last year it would have been our 1st rounder and McIntosh for Briggs.
This year is would have been two 1st rounders and who know what else.

Why couldnt they step up to the plate and at least save us some $$ on the Haynesworth deal?

We get it, you don't like Campbell and wanted Cutler. It didn't happen, move on.

I was conflicted when the news came down. It's like making an offer on a house that you really like but you know is overpriced and you can't really afford. You'd be nervously excited if you get it but disappointingly relieved that you didn't.

Before Tuesday I was perfectly fine with Campbell going into the season and I still am. The only thing that's changed for me is that I want the FO to extend him now so we can offset the damage (or perceived damage) of the past 2 days.

The list of teams that deserve thank you notes from the Redskins once they win the division now include the Bears, the Bills, and the Titans.

Well, McDaniels better develop Orton or Simms into a winner right away, and he better use those draft picks on defense; otherwise he'd be screwed.
