Maybe Childress had Favre on his fantasy football team.

I have no sympathy for the Cowboys. They couldn't stop Rice or the Vikings all day. Man up Brooking this is the NFL.

What's funny is the Cowboys complaining about class. They have no class. They never have they never will. So I say, good on you Vikes. Way to give the boys thier own medicine. And Brooking, STFU. You lost, move on. Keep your whining to yourself , and if you were worried about being classy you wouldn't have signed with the Cowpukes.

I'd just like to remind everyone that over the past couple of years we've moaned and groaned about how Farve has gone back and fourth on retirement the last few offseasons (myself included). This year though I don't want to hear a peep from anyone. Farve is now officially a hero in Redskin nation. He stopped a Dallas playoff run and took away the right for Dallas fans to heckle us more then they already do. I don't know about you guys but I'm building a Farve shrine in my room right now that will make John Madden jealous.

LMAO. Great Post. I have always been a Farve fan, and I am glad he was finally able to get the Dallas playoff Jinx of his back. This may be one of his best teams ever.

I try not to complain about the Favre "should I should I not" retirement circus because I know he's a great player and he's been fun to watch his whole career but sometimes it gets so annoying to hear about it everyday on ESPN during the offseason and I just can't help but think RETIRE OR DON"T BUT MAKE UP YOUR F'N MIND!!! But I'll be nice this year

Re: Vikings Run Up The Score: Brooking vs. Pat Williams

I've never understood this 'running up the score...' hoopla. Maybe its football thing. I've been on team that lost 63-10 in a one sided thrashing, and never once did a thought of the winning team being disrespectful etc... crossed my mind or any of my teammates. We were disappointed about our poor defensive effort than the opposing teams scoring a ton of tries.

Re: Vikings Run Up The Score: Brooking vs. Pat Williams

But yet, when the Patriots ran up the score on the Redskins in 2007 (52-7) there was a "whiners thread" about it on this forum that was several pages long, calling Belicheck "classless".

As far as I am concerned, a win is a win whether the score is 20-19 or 200-19, at the end of the day it is still a "1" in the win column.

But if any of you guys want to complain that some people are "whining", look no further than that thread from 2007. My money is that some of you are criticizing Brooking, were whining louder than anyone after that Patriots game.

If your gonna "talk the talk" you need to "walk the walk" to have any credibility.

Awesome clips - and they tell it all. Great job ArtMonk..

Anyway:
1) It's the NFL. You're a grown man. Suck it up. You couldn't beat a 40 year old man??
2) It could be Brett Favre's last game ever -- let him score!
3) It gives your team pride & motivation, like going the Colts going undefeated (they should have gone for it!). As a coach -- you need to find ways to get your team to play harder.

While I probably wouldn't run the score up myself, I always thought it was fair game. Basically, unless you're in little league -- IF YOU WANT THEM TO STOP SCORING, STOP THEM YOURSELF.

You won't find me whining in that thread.

And I still say that Brooking is a classless, immature sore loser.

I remember that thread. There was also a contingent of us warpathers who thought that the Patriots did nothing wrong. Personally, I think what the Pats and Vikes did was classless and dumb. I said as much in 2007 and earlier in this thread.

You're right, there were a few people whining and bitching about the score being run up on the Redskins (I was NOT one of them). When it's your team being badly blown out, as was yours yesterday, you tend to take it differently. We, as Redskins fans, happened to enjoy it since the Cowboys are the team we despise the most. I'm sure Cowboy fans enjoyed the Patriots whipping the Skins a$$ back in 07 (I know I had to listen to it for a few weeks from alot of Dallas fans). Sometimes you've just gotta take it on the chin like a man (not saying you're not) and move on. It hurts worse since the Cowboys had been playing so well in the weeks leading up to this game and for the second year in a row only to lose their final game being blown out. Honestly, I didn't see this one coming. I thought Dallas was going to the Superbowl.

I would politely remind you, you're on a REDSKINS fan site! We're going to rejoice when the Boyz lose. Just sayin'.

Enjoy the off-season!

HAIL TO THE REDSKINS.
