If we're comparing those draft classes.
Ryan Tannehill = Alex Smith
Andrew Luck = Aaron Rodgers
RGIII = ????

Here's hoping that he's better than Rodgers, but I think RGIII is better than Smith right now.

No need to watch the first hour of the draft lol. Time to get the RG3 jersey, as soon as find out what number he is.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

No - however you feel about this trade - after watching the redskins draft RGIII, it's time to start taking shots.

I was just driving on my lunch break and almost crashed my pickup when they broke this on KNBR. WTF is Shannahan doing! I rather take Tannehill instead of paying that price.

I fully expect John Beck to compete with RG3 for the starting QB job..

So happy!!! I still can not even gather my thoughts...just so incredibly happy. I will wait until at least tomorrow to start praying that he's as good as advertised.

You and I have been together calling for QB quality. In fact, to give proper credit, you were there first.

But isn't the price awful steep? We don't have a first round pick until the next Presidential cycle is gearing up.

Yes its steep but if he's even a good starter its worth it. If he's a franchise qb its a steal. We have wasted season after season looking for the guy...enough was enough.

We still didn't give up as much as Ditka. Kinda depressing to know we will not have a draft for the next couple of years.

Arguably we gave up more than Ditka. Ditka gave up more picks but not 3 #1's and a #2. 6th round picks are almost throwaways. Even Herschel Walker didn't go for 3 #1's and a #2 as I recall it.
