Yeah I like him but he's not that much better than Haskins or Lock IMO so I'm fine with a rookie QB

Re: What’s your plan for the Quarterback position?

Found Jay Gruden and Bruce Allen's interviews interesting.

Jay doesn't think Haskins is NFL-ready and will need at least a year on the bench. Jay doesn't believe in carrying 3 QBs on the roster. Jay says he doesn't know what the offense will look like in 2019 and they'll adjust it based on who they draft. Bruce thinks we're fine with Case and Colt.

Now, this is the time of year where everyone lies, but i think we can rule out drafting Haskins unless he falls. I mean, it would be rather awkward to draft a guy your head coach publically criticized. I also think it means that if we do draft a QB high, Colt probably will be cut. Which, i would not be a fan of, as he's the only QB who knows the system. he'd be very valuable helping a rookie QB learn the offense.

Common sense would tell you to keep 3 when your backup is McCoy. Especially after last year. The offense was at a high school level once Colt went out. But I do think that since they like having only 2 then Colt could be in trouble.

I'm not sure why Snyder allows Allen to have make any kind of comment or decision on the QB's since he's already shown he's incompetent in that area.

Is it possible for Gruden to keep 3 QBs and keep 3rd QB inactive for games? I could see this happen since I'm sure Gruden will want McCoy to mentor our rookie QB

I'd rather go 1-15 than watch this dude in that jersey # play... Funny that the team's last 2 signed QB's are #8 hmmm

Common sense would say the team should have drafted more than one QB in the past 6 and we shouldn't have put him on the practice squad so the Eagles could poach him. Common sense would say that if one of your QBs is the injury-prone Colt McCoy, then you should always go with 3 QBs. It goes without saying that common sense is a rare commodity in this front office.

Having 3 QBs on the active roster and maybe 2 on the practice squad might be something they will do....they don't want a repeat of last year's injury disaster at QB and being forced to bring in bums like Mark Sanchez and Josh Johnson from off the street.....

That won't happen. I don't think Gruden will stash a QB with high potentials on practice squad anymore since we lost Sudfield because we kept him on practice squad instead of the team list.

Re: What’s your plan for the Quarterback position?

how come no one in this organization, that makes the player decisions, values the QB position? this has been a QB driven league for quite some time. but yet the skins, year after year, fail to understand that

Its almost as if the people making the decisions don't know what they're doing. But that can't be right. There's so much evidence that Bruce Allen, Doug Williams, and Jay Gruden are highly competent individuals...

Chris Mortenson on Sirius XM " The Redskins are very much so alive in the Rosen race, should the @AZCardinals select Kyler Murray."

I don't buy the Pats being a contender for Rosen, or Miami. I really think it's us and the Giants
