I agree with you!
In fact, we don't seem to have a long term plan at QB other than Campbell. We need a backup plan to campbell!

I agree. Our backups are old and questionable. We'd be in trouble with either of them starting. If our D plays as good as they've looked and Campbell has to miss a game or two for an injury, I think Brunell and Collins could do enough. But we need a backup that isn't a year away from retirement.

We are in good shape for this year at QB and many to come with JC, and have solid backup depth in Mark and Todd, that is there main concern clearly. They will adress the longer term QB backup situation next off season, when both Mark and Todd depart.

IMO the long term backup will not turn out to be Palmer (if they are even thinking about bringing him back to the pratice squad, I hope not....?). I know it's aweful early for this kid, and you never say never.......but IMO he won't last long in this league.

However, I don't want him here. I don't want anyone who is a threat to Campbell. We ride or die with JC.

Leftwich is never healthy. He couldn't be a threat to anyone even if he wanted to be.

I don't know, that is probably what Jordan Palmer was supposed to have been. I mean, it makes sense that the 'Skins FO picked up a late round QB that could be molded into a a decent backup at least. Unfortunately, Palmer just didn't pan out. It is always wise to have at least one veteran QB who can come off the bench and play well for you.
