Re: Redskins vs. 49ers game thread
I'm glad we are playing to win this game vs the 6-9 niners.... to show how inadequate we are...
still disgusted the rooks aren't dominating the playing time... could they doing that much worse??? really???

Re: Redskins vs. 49ers game thread
if we had an offense ..... 75% of our games wouldnt be this way.
it'd be 31 - 14. and we wouldnt be thinking about holy shit they could score and we prolly wont damn we might lose.

Re: Redskins vs. 49ers game thread
It's not looking to promising atleast Heyer has looked pretty good if he can solidify the RT spot when Samuels comes back we may be pretty good at O-line.

Re: Redskins vs. 49ers game thread
80 yards on the 49ers drive for the go ahead score.
I blame Zorn's playcalling! Put in Colt!

Re: Redskins vs. 49ers game thread
Why can't Zorn simply stay HC and QB coach and hire a WCO offensive coach/playcaller.

How come anytime this team faces any termoil they fall apart, How come we can't rebound from a fumble or interception, It's like oh we fumbled everybody put there heads down and let's cry about it till we lose the lead.

Re: Redskins vs. 49ers game thread
Bottom line, Zorn trusts Zorn more than he trusts his offense. From what I've seen, he puts more confidence in his play calling ability, or lack thereof, than putting the game in his most dangerous players.
As someone aluded to earlier, I don't really see this changing next season. Sure, there will be some tinkering around the edges during the offseason, but I don't see anything in this coach and how his core players are responding to him that leads me to believe otherwise. |

System doesn't play to our personnel. The best coaches can adapt to their players strengths, or at least in the pros make sure they have the players in place that best suit that system. If Snyder is indeed committed to Zorn, that is fine, but he needs to get a guy to help Zorn get the personnel to fit the system, which unfortunately will take some time. Does Snyder and us here in Skins nation have the patience? I am not so sure. |

Exactly what I am saying. Cerrrato and the crazy ass drafts the past several years leave me to think they are just shooting in the dark. Rarely have our recent drafts addressed the most glaring needs of our team. Remember when we drafted 2 mid to low round RBs? We could have at least drafted a couple defensive linemen or DBs and maybe could have gotten one decent starter where we sorely needed one. I believe that was the 2006 draft where we drafted Blades. Anyway Snyder needs to back off the football completely. |
