Remember when Sanchez wasn't a definite top 10?

It's almost bittersweet, the mixture of being excited to see what happens tomorrow, and the almost certainty that i wont like it.

I feel the exact same way...and I'm going to the draft party. If this all goes down...I'm booing Dan Snyder, Jim Zorn, and Vinny Cerratto.

The ideal situation: Campbell gets dealt for a second round pick and Sanchez gets taken in the top 3. The Redskins have to move forward with neither of them.

That would be entertaining to watch. Some combination of Colt and Collins next year. We'd have a terrible, terrible offense. Everyone wins but Jim Zorn.

I can't see us trading Campbell before the trade up and knowing that we got Sanchez. I can't see us getting a 2nd rounder either if we do get Sanchez.

I always seem to be in the players court when it comes to their issues. Especially when they are respectable. At this point I have walked across the court from JC. When he was quiet, saying what ever happens happens my respect for him grew ten fold. Now that he has opened his mouth about being traded reminds me of Cutler.

It really didn't matter if we got Sanchez or not with JC there I would bet he would be starting. Sanchez would have the whole yr to learn the offense and be ready for next year leaving JC to be the QB. Now the cry baby routine starts. Bye. and while your at it take Sellers with you. Maybe if you played better we would not be looking for another QB. Maybe if you played better all the time the team would revisit your contract or would have had a big contract from the start.

What's all this news saying the Broncos want Sanchez but wouldn't trade their 12 and 18, it's not worth it or something? To move up to 3 that's not that bad of a deal, you lose one first round pick in essence and move way up with the other. Anybody else will be giving up their first and at least one next year too it seems.

For a quarterback who started ONE year in college. It's a gamble, two first round picks to move up in the draft is retarded. Especially to move up for a QB, have you seen the success rates of high drafted QB's?

It's a bit better than the low rounds. I agree it's a gamble, so is every other draft pick.

Re: Campbell will ask for trade if Redskins draft a QB

There's really only one way this thing is going to end, now. The Skins HAVE to move up and get Sanchez and unload Jason. They've gone too damn far with this...it's probably been mismanaged worse that the Broncos trying to trade Cutler, it just so happens that Campbell is not a pussy. He's tried to do and say all the right things about being a Redskin and they've basically lied to him all offseason. I understand it's a business, but damn, show him a little bit of respect.

Dan could have spent the offseason doing some root cause analysis on what went wrong down the stretch, or you could something reactionary like try to acquire another quarterback. Most good front offices would have done the former...shocker that Dan Snyder and Vinny Cerratto decided to do the latter.

Couldn't agree more, there will be no damage control part II. Danny and Vinny really ****ed this up, I would love to see Campbell demand a trade right after Sanchez is picked by someone else and the Skins have to either trade him or risk him sitting out the season.

Re: Campbell will ask for trade if Redskins draft a QB

Campbell will hopefully be Our starter for sometime to come. The guy has not had one OC in place for any set time and I think He has shown alot of maturity
just going through the changes year after year in playcalling, an old, injury-prone OL, and substandard recieving core. Just give JC a chance to stop
running for His life in the pocket, and He'll do something.. I like him, but his motion quickness in pass delivery needs to speed up and I think they need to
let Him get more of a feel for his game, not be always waiting for someone to radio in a solution. If He masters those two aspects and the OL and Portis
do their do, we'll be set to kick you know what.
