Re: Skins Sign O-Lineman Mike Williams
Maybe Williams could play RT and RG at the same time and save us a roster spot.

Re: Skins Sign O-Lineman Mike Williams
If we're fortunate enough big Mike will have the potential to play LT by Week 8. Key word potential. I hate to think what would happen to us if Samuals went down again.

Re: Skins Sign O-Lineman Mike Williams
He was never considered a LT prospect, always played at RT. I don't see that changing.

Re: Skins Sign O-Lineman Mike Williams
Could you see a line up of
Samuals Dockery Jansen Bridges Williams This would be one heavy O-line to push around. Keep the rest for when one needs a breather or gets hurt. |

Re: Skins Sign O-Lineman Mike Williams
The thought of Williams out there is sort of funny cuz he dwarfs everyone. For just one snap I'd like to see him at guard next to Rabach...the only guy left sub 300.

Or have him at tackle with either Cooley or Davis next to him. LOL.

Re: Skins Sign O-Lineman Mike Williams
He's to good (when healthy) in pass protection to warrant a move inside. Ironically coming out of college his pass blocking was considered much better then his run blocking. Thats mainly why I suggested he could serve time at LT should, god forbid, Samuals went down. Apparently though Williams has always played RT. It's just that part of the reason he was so highly regarded in 2002 was because he protected the blind side for a southpaw at Texas.

Re: Skins Sign O-Lineman Mike Williams
If Thomas doesn't hold up from his injury we could actually see this at some point. Jansen could hold his own against bigger NT's better than Rabach.

Re: Skins Sign O-Lineman Mike Williams
Mike Williams could be our next Ed Simmons, a solid non-flashy RT.
