Re: Redskins vs. Steelers Game Thread

Re: Redskins vs. Steelers Game Thread
Just missed the interception...but I'm going to just assume it was Devin Thomas' fault. Right, Tripp?

Theismann says Thomas waited for the ball -- while the DB drove in for it...

How much of that is Devin, probably not much. I'm thinking Campbell puts it on him.

Re: Redskins vs. Steelers Game Thread
Oh well, nice drive for the starting offense against the Steelers starting D -- but the fake punt helped...
Still wouldn't mind seeing them actually put the ball in the endzone though. |

Campbell was pretty good on third down, but he didn't have a completion on first or second down. Part of that was bizarre playcalling with the deep balls, and the rest of it seemed to be just runs.

If sellers injury is serious, then we'll probably get Lorenzo Neal. Just watch.

Re: Redskins vs. Steelers Game Thread
Through six quarters of preseason...
3 points scored 30 points surrendered JC is 4/13 for 38 yards Orakpo looks ok...needs some work in pass coverage Special teams is suspect. At least Suisham made the X-tra Point (x 3) Defense looks similar to what it has looked like in years past. Can't stop the third down play. Overall, I'm not convinced this team is much better than they were last year. But it is only six quarters. And it is just preseason. |
