Beat me to it.
Close thread PLEASE! Quote:
DB's had Owens number lately. He is starting to show his age. He now has more of a problem shedding the press coverage of DB's. They get in tight and harass him physically and he cant get off the coverage. In his prime, he was good at beating that, but in these past few years he has shown a handicap at shedding those presses. But it is all academic now as he has signed in Cincy. Time for the young guns to show up I guess. And just between you and me, with Moss's breakaway speed, I would not put him in the slot too much. |

Well glad we can stop this debate now. It is a mute point wether or not TO would have helped this squad. If the FO determines we need a WR that bad the best option in VJ. That's it.
I personally believe we should be cool with what we have like Matty and if we need to draft a WR next year then so be it.

Yeah, then we can give up a couple high draft pix and then sign him to the contract that Sam Bradford is about to get. I'd love to have VJ, but not for what we'd have to give up. We couldve gotten TO for dirt cheap and he wouldnt had cost us any draft pix.

Thanks for the proper spelling of the word. I hope I don't make the same mistake again or I am sure that you will correct me bro.

You obviously read the rest of my post. I am not behind the move personally, but I believe in MS and BA, they are our leaders if they lead us down that road I will root for the Redskins whole heartedly! Ride or Die with my Skins!

Agreed, I can't believe some people were so pressed about getting him here.

And when a door closes, a window opens. You KNOW this is going to open the whole VJ can of worms now...

I concede the obvious...TO is or at least was a talented reciever.
However, how many teams does he need to be a.....problem for before we surmise...maybe he's a "known" problematic personality??? Do we need that??? NO...HTTR

Carson Palmer will now be back to his 4000+ yard form?
