And there in lies the problem. But even if they were dehydrated in most cases they are taken into the locker room and and IV put in to get rehydrated. You'll never see two guys go down walk off the field, stand on the sideline, and come back in during the next play. Usually someone who has had a fainting spell, or has had a dizzy spell is sitting on the bench being attended to by the physician. They want to know why they had the issue in the first place.

Again I know it might be hard to determine, which is your arguement and the league does not have a rule because the Refs are not doctors and they don't want players staying on the field playing (as in concussions) if they are truly injured. But if you use some common sense (which is all I'm asking) if a player went down due to injury then they would be on the sideline getting looked at, carried off the field, or something. They don't walk off the field and stand on the sideline with out attention waiting for their turn to go back in.

it will undoubtedly be a very case to case type of reveiw, but to say the only way to fine them is if they admit there was an injury is not the awnser. in some circumstances it might not even have that large of an impact of the game it self. in this instance though the rams were running their hurry up to precision and had the giants gasping for air and were most likely about to score. instead the giants have two guys go down faking injuries and slowing down the rams offesnse, while not having to burn any of their timeouts. the giants then get a break and get to regain their composure. it's just wrong.

i really think goodell has to do something to the giants be it the staff, the players, or both, the latter being my preference. they did this on mnf with the whole country watching, this is the prime time to set an example.
Yes, thank you for reminding me. Maybe if the team in the lead is the one using this tactic (as the Giants were) then instead of a time run off they add more time to the clock and take away a timeout of the team using said tactic. Or in this situation they could have called unsports man like conduct and moved the Rams half the distance to the goal or put them on the 1 yrd line. Or given the Rams an extra play to get into the endzone.

LOL...really?...cheating???

I see. Albert Haynesworth's next stop. Big Blue. They could use his fine acting skills.

So what is the difference of maybe not getting off another player when the play is over to run off time, maybe the ball rolls away from the ref....anything to take time away from the other team, clock management.
