Oh yeah hey he seems to be a standup team player. Plus man dont think i feel sorry for a guy making that kind of money for standing around. Lol. Ill take his job tonite. Dude had a nice career and even went to a superbowl. Im sure his competitive side isnt too happy, but in the big picture he has done just fine for himself. His expression though was funny - everyone else was all smiles n he just looked down. After recent events in the world i dont feel bad mocking him for being down over something like playing football. At all.

So if and when Kyle leaves he isnt getting a parting gift in the form of one of our QB's. But lets say he takes another job, and they dont have a qb, and he talks up say Cousins to his new team - what do you expect them to throw at us? Because Kyle isnt "taking" anyone and in essence it would be just like any other team showing interest.

Looking at what teams give up for QBs the1st round pick isn't looking like its out of the question. I would say the kolb, Palmer deals point to the fact we could indeed get a pick or at least a starter level player back for him even after only 5 quarters of football.

There are quite a few teams that would consider trading for a qb, chiefs, jags, cards, raiders,
eagles?, Vikings?, Bills? Etc. with no prospect rated at the elite level in the draft, I could see a team trying to make a trade. Think of it this way, if you are a cardinals fan would you rather have Vick for high dollars or trade a 1st for cousins with a favorable contract that would allow you to see how good he is before you throw the big money at him?

Cousins is 10x the QB Whedon is

Period thats my thoughts on todays game. Mike Shanahan still has it he can go find unknowns and stuff and make them stars....In this case this was a give me as Kirk Cousins coulda been drafted second round

Re: Skins 38 Browns 21 post game thread

As hard as I have been on the Shanahans, to go into their house and have our rookie QB, a fourth round pick making his first start, completely outplay their rookie QB, a first round pick making his 14th start, by every objective metric was a huge testament to the coaching job done by those two guys.

I don't know if Cousins starts next week or if he gets traded (huge mistake IMO) but the guy really looked like he could be a starter in the NFL and there are a shocking number of teams that don't have a starting QB on their roster.

Re: Skins 38 Browns 21 post game thread

Big ups to KS for making adjustments both pre-game and in game to adjust the offense to what Cousins does well.

I wasn't able to watch a lot of the game, but, in the parts I saw, Cousins' roll-outs were well done and clearly took advantage of Cleveland's D selling out to stop Morris. Scrapping the pistol and options b/c they are Cousins' game and, essentially, pulling out last year's play book was pretty gutsy given that the offense hadn't really used it in a year.

Kudos to coaches and players.

Re: Skins 38 Browns 21 post game thread

Great game yesterday after a shaky start. I'll have to say after the first 4 (I think it was 4) 3 and outs I was starting to think get Grossman need to go in. Then evrything just turned around and the Team played a great game.

Not sure why people think Kyle is going anywhere he is staying here to take over when his dad retires.
