Agreed. The nfl is a weird business; they fine teams for wanting to spend money on players, and fine players for not dressing accordingly, yet don't fine players for pushing referees.

Have to give the Skins FO (under Bruce Allen) credit for working the media to their advantage. All we can do is have faith in their PR strategy at this point. Can't see what the legal argument is that the NFLPA hasn't already made to Judge Doty (and lost). "Irreparable harm" is not a cause of action, it is one of the requirements for a TRO. Also need likelihood of success on the merits of whatever it is they are alleging as their cause of action. |

Go Danny go, kick everyone in the nuts and show them who is king. Make Mara and his cronies regret pulling this stunt.

From the PFT Article:
Quote:
The league screwed us over on the eve of free agency last year. I love the idea of holding the whole league hostage on the eve of free agency this year.

The NFLPA has lost their claim cause they supposedly signed a contract that they would not file any claim for collusion. The Redskins and Cowboys never signed an agreement and got punished for doing nothing. So if anyone has a claim its the two teams for being punished for not breaking the law (colluding) and god knows the NFL does not want to lose their freedom to do what they want vs being overseen by the feds. |

Question, so would this just be the Skins or would the Cowboys join the Skins?
