Re: 34th Overall Pick

Both those guys might be gone by the time the skins pick.

Hopefully the skins just pick the best player almost regardless of position, because the skins need help everywhere.

I still think if it comes down to a linemen or a reviever, the skins better go with the linemen.

I think Benjamin made more plays than hank did but also had a way better Qb so it's kinda hard to tell

Heck, yeah. If he's is available in the 3rd, that's a must-take. He's a huge hitter and makes big plays. Deone Bucannon would be an excellent pick.

Re: 34th Overall Pick

I believe our draft strategy will become a bit more clear once FA starts and we see who we're targeting. With the available DBs in the FA market I think that's where we spend money. I like the idea of drafting along the O and D lines and maybe a WR or ILB if you can get great value.

Any thoughts on Allen Robinson, the Penn St. receiver at this spot? I like the talent and upside of him. He's a big kid at 6'3 210 with good acceleration.

2013: 97 Rec, 1432 Yards, 6 TD.
2012: 77 Rec, 1018 Yards, 11TD.

Here's a mock draft i did on fanspeak. I think it turned out pretty well. I'd be ecstatic if we ended up with these players.

66 ILB CHRISTIAN JONES, FLORIDA STATE
98 WR MARTAVIS BRYANT, CLEMSON
130 OT SEANTREL HENDERSON, MIAMI
162 RB DE’ANTHONY THOMAS, OREGON
194 TE COLT LYERLA, OREGON

I'd be extremely happy with that except for the first pick. Like to see us go D-Line there with your other picks.

Yeah i was really hoping that Stephon Tuitt would fall to pick number 34 but he didnt so i just went with the BPA at a position of need. I doubt Clinton-Dix falls that far anyway.

After watching most opposing quarterbacks looking like Hall of Famers against the Redskins I would agree secondary help has to be a top priority.

We really have no need for a WR , T) Henderson , if he is highly motivated , Lyerla , I think he has been arrested a few times . Would be happy with Dix and Jones !

CBS Sports says Colt Lyerla is "clearly a 1st round talent." With our need at TE, he'd be a good risk after the 5th. Him and Reed at TE would be an unstoppable force, providing, of course, he stayed out of trouble. Because he does have issues off the field.

It's also predicated on the idea that De'Anthony Thomas would be playing much more slot receiver than running back.

Morgan Moses may be a great pick to solidify the offensive line at 34.

Moses at 34 would be an absolute steal. Few players at 34 would make me happier than him. My only worry at this point is he could easily go mid to late first. Still a starter at RT and a more than viable backup at LT would see me singing for seemingly no reason.
