Re: First place Redskins
So, does this team take the next step and take care of business on the road this week - wrap up the division and give themselves the ability to rest some guys before hosting a home playoff game against the Seahawks...
OR Does this team go to Philly and lay an egg and rely on help to back into the playoffs or miss it altogether? I think they get it done... You? |

Well I think we beat the hell out of the birds. However if they dont I believe that the Giants will win out and we will beat Dallas. It would really be horrible to have to root for all that to happen, but I believe win or lose sat night we r getting in. Gints with their backs to the wall and knowing they have a shot will be an extremely tough out and no way we lose twice. |

Re: First place Redskins
The Giants minus Odell could lose in Minnesota, so I wouldn't count on them winning another game this season.
The fact that the NFC East has been so close all season long yet the 'Skins have a chance to wrap it up in Week 16, and not worry about the results of the game in Dallas? The situation couldn't get much better then that. I don't like the idea of giving a team like Dallas the chance to play spoiler and send their fans home happy and making fun of the "same ol' Redskins" not to mention tempers often flare in a 'Skins v. Dallas game and I'd rather not be relying on a game where players could act a fool. |

Re: First place Redskins
I really feel like it's character that takes over in the biggest of pressure situations. The 2005 and 2007 Gibbs teams that made the playoffs went on hot streaks down the stretch and clinched in do or die moments. I like our team's character and leadership much more than that of the Eagles.
Here in this market I hear so much. Jason Peters has basically said he won't play injured for Chip Kelly. DeMarco Murray slid like a QB to avoid a punishing hit a few games ago. And did you see that Kiko Alonso attempted goal line "stop" against the Cardinals? He's a shrinking violet. I feel like we're going to come out hitting the absolute snot out of them and take this game by sheer will.

Re: First place Redskins
It just feels like one of those games where Hatcher, Baker, Pot Roast and Ricky Jean all just look at each other, nod once, say nothing, put their hands in the dirt, and just lift dudes off their feet and stuff the run in the backfield.
Steve Young says it all the time, football has an element of 'not over my dead body'. The Redskins will bring it.

Re: First place Redskins
One thing that I forget about. This team has stonewalled a substantial number of goal line and 4th down stands this season......
nice

Love how he assumes Romo would have won so many games. What a jackass. How about our countless injuries? Also he talks about our mediocre team but fails to mention we have been a completely different team the second half of the season. Its an obvious progression. |
