Re: The FINAL Kirk Cousins Saga thread. 5.0
If any team would actually be stupid enough to let their franchise qb walk with no compensation, I would bet that it would be us. Spare Baltimore (which had to pay Flacco because he won a SB) there are very few teams out there that got wrecked by signing their franchise qb. Somehow we managed to turn this into a debate about whether we could improve the team while also paying a qb market rate. If our FO can't improve the team without signing a good qb they don't deserve to run the team.

Only a moron would say calling someone a moron isn't a personal attack.

Dude, do you kick your fucking dog when you come home? The post about Cousins was off, but it ain't that big a deal. Just call it fake news and be done with it. Your blood pressure must be through the damn roof. And to top it off you think that calling someone a fucking moron isn't a personal attack?? LOL. What delusional world does your ass live in? Go up and say that shit to someone's face and see the response you get, and judge whether it's a personal attack or not. You're nothing but a keyboard bully.

Re: The FINAL Kirk Cousins Saga thread. 5.0
Seen Schneed10 getting some hate on here. I'm not trying to take any sides but S10 is a good poster, his stuff is well thought out and in general he doesn't post any knee-jerk stuff. I have felt his wrath before but the truth is, i'm better for it because whenever he would call me out I posted crazy stuff and was just doing the knee jerk reaction crap. I'd like to think i am more thought out now with my posts, so I thank him for that.
The cousins situation is a serious one. I think for the first time in a great while we have a legit Franchise QB that we have developed, and it is a little scary that we might be letting him go, maybe for nothing. That alone is horrifying but like others have said, only the redskins can be trusted to screw something up of this magnitude. I will hold my breath and hope with cautious optimism that we end up getting to sign Kirk and finally ending all this madness.

Re: The FINAL Kirk Cousins Saga thread. 5.0
And that's why they are (dare I say it on this thread?) morons, because winning is sexy and he can help us win. Is he a HOF QB? Maybe not, but is he better than anyone we've had in a couple of decades? Absolutely. Relying on the draft here is completely rolling the dice that you'll do better, and that hasn't exactly worked for us, even with 1st round picks (see, e.g., Shuler, Ramsey, Campbell, RGIII). Offer him a fair contract that says we want him to stay, and negotiate responsibly. If it works out, great. If not, you did what you had to do having made the decisions you've made for the last two offseasons which you now cannot change.
