Re: The 2022 Washington Commanders draft thread
Every fan base drinks the koolaid not just us. Obviously 2-3 guys from this class on average will actually help this team in the long run. The Question is which 2 or 3 will it be? Same for every team. The nfl isn’t the nba. Guys are so hard to predict as early producers for your team.

All the comments about reaching for any of these guys is as premature as the comments about how good each pick was. We just won't know for a year or two. On paper I'm pleased. |

"Best special teams coverage player in the entire draft," NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah said following the choice. "A dominant gunner." Can we please cut Apke now?

What are you hearing that makes you think that? I was reading Keon’s analysis he called him raw which I interpreted as a project.

Just my own personal thought. I could be wrong.

Re: The 2022 Washington Commanders draft thread
I'm glad we drafted Howell, I like him. I thought he would be gone by 2nd round but then many of us thought a few other QBs would be drafted in 1st round lol..
Howell has a nice arm but he needs work on his techniques. For those who are interested, Kurt Warner made a couple of nice breakdown videos of Howell on YouTube. I think it will be a good test for our QB coach, whoever that is. |

On a serious note, I'm glad they got a developmental QB, definitely thought it was a smart move.

Re: The 2022 Washington Commanders draft thread
I hope that the drafting of Howell breathes life into Dyami Brown. If Dyami can begin to show what he did at UNC, adding him to the McLaurin, Dotson, Samuel trio could be very potent.

Re: The 2022 Washington Commanders draft thread
I wanted Howell and they got him!! I feel he’s the best of the bunch and we got a steal. Hopefully won’t be long before he takes over Wentz spot.
