What about Jared Lorenzen? He looks goofy as hell, al 285 pounds of him behind center, but he is a #2 guy, or has been. Tim Hasselbeck I thought was pretty good here and he was still behind Lorenzen. Maybe not here, but I would love to see him starting somewhere. It would be very interesting to see how he plays.

The alleged shooter told police he and the other suspects burned their clothes in an attempt to conceal the crime. Another suspect said he considered coming forward to authorities when he found out it was Taylor who had been shot.

timmy posted a 0.0 vs dallas (4 ints < 50% completions). he won't be starting anywhere anytime soon. he definitely gets style points for being able to grab a wife way out of his league though.

Hackett will visit the Panthers on Friday, according to The Charlotte Observer.

In a 2007 season hampered by injuries, Hackett caught 32 passes for 384 yards and three touchdowns. At 26, Hackett could be the No. 2 receiver the Panthers need to complement Steve Smith.

The newspaper also reported Hackett will visit the Redskins and Buccaneers.
