That's your choice what you want to believe. I had honest intentions. Just cause I don't like Obama doesn't mean I am not willing to hear about what he has done well. No way is someone completely bad all the time. Everyone has positives, I already explained this. There are blind Obama lovers here which is why my first post displaying my dislike for him wasn't taken well. It really doesn't matter...you can make this about what he has done right, or not...it's completely up to the Obama fans. This thread could be about what he has done right if you were willing to actually make it that way instead of trying to see the negative. If you haven't noticed, I have not attacked ANY of his negatives, in fact I actually stood up for him when someone said "He's not even american".
You can see what you want, I can't do anything about that.
Yes, I dislike Obama.
No, I am not willing to close my ears to the positive he has done.
Yes, it's that simple.

The one thing with Clinton is that the Rep had control of congress so Clinton could only do but so much.
I got new windows under the Bush administration and they were deducted off my yearly taxes...is that what you are referring to, or was there an actual program to give you a tax break as well as you will get the deductions on your yearly taxes? Or a separation of the two? I am confused on that.

I think the Obama deal is a true tax credit instead of just a write off. For example if I owe 3000 next year before my tax break when its applied I will only owe 1500. Under the Bush plan I really would only save at my current tax rate. So if I claimed 1000 for windows then that is not counted as income and I save 300 if I was at a tax rate of 30%. Under Obama's plan I can write off 30% of the total cost up $1500.

Agree with the cancellation of the F-22, but because it was a very costly program and the Joint Strike Fighter F-35 will be more cost-effective and provide more capabilities than the F-22 and be fully operational within a few years.

Advanced weapons systems are what keeps us free. We can argue politcal views all day long, but it's because of these systems that we keep the right to do that.

I agree to disagree, not worth going off-topic again. Note, I did not say to abolish forever though.

Re: What has Obama done well?

When out fishing one day I had a Stelth bommer fly right over the boat at a low altitude. The cool part was we had our back to the plane as it approached and did not even hear it until it was passing.

I know. Having all that excess money in the National Treasury must've been a real bitch.

- Response to early 2000s (Clinton) recession.
- Economic Stimulus Act (mostly tax rebates)

Surprise, a lefty from LA disagrees. You're right though:
- the concept of helping all children succeed in school, especially in lower and mid-lower income areas, and holding schools accountable for performance is a crappy idea.
- so is stopping Partial Birth abortion
- the Bush Admin of course had nothing to do with stopping terrorist attacks from 2001-2008.
- who cares about the millions in Africa that Bush approved funding saved from AIDS & death.
- we should've never went after Bin Laden and the Taliban, we deserved 9/11.
- I enjoy telemarketing calls at dinnertime.

I'll just drop another hit, how silly of me to even post.
