@GMScud, Matty: 90 Minute is great, but if you can get your hands on 120, do it but beware...18% APV. The Palo is great, and the wood tanks they brew it is are awesome. The smell of the wood is unreal with the combination of the wood and the beer.

I enjoyed my Celebration Ale on Friday night, it was really good! 6 of them is all you need for a great buzz.

I thought that was what I was going to do as well (only a couple) but I kept pouring them into a glass and they went done very smooth. Kind of reminded me of Sam Adams Winter Lager but a little less bitter. I probably drank the 6 over a 4 hour period. Yes it was Sierra Neveda.

Has anyone tried that 1800 tequila? The one I always see the commercials for on TV saying how much better it is than Petron? I've had shots of Petron and that stuff is so smooth. I mean anything better than that would have to be pretty effin fantastic.

for my money there are many tequilas I'd take against those.. 1800 is close and at a lower price point in the same price point, across the whole line, I'd take the don julio's in a heartbeat drop down a few dollars and the sauze tres generaciones gives you more than the patron, easily if you want to talk about a few more dollars than patron then we're on a diff subject I've had damn near all of the top spirits there are (save a lot of them more than 70 a fifth) and consider myself a pretty decent tongue for fine spirits.. the only category I haven't gone pretty high end with against a decent spread is brandy/cognac.. but I've had a good handful at least |
