Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
I love how someone said that they're were 99% sure we wouldn't get mcnabb.
that 1 % is huge now.

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
Or could we be about to make a deal , move back some and draft a lineman in the first and maybe a young qb later on for mcnabb to teach?

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
Hey Guys just saw this on NFL Network GREAT News for u Guys I can't belive one guyu here can complain about getting McNabb who at least has 4 more good years left of him for a 2nd round pick that was a great move and like some say now you focus on OT and you automaticly have a pretty good offense.
Now you guys have to mark two games next season Philly at Was and Was at philly both games are going to be really intense. |

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
I am not a fan of this move but I guess it is a wait and see type deal. I feel like we are back to the mentality that we are one player away from being a SB contender which is so untrue. I am disappointed.

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
I don't get the logic of some not wanting to bring McNabb here, but wanting us to draft a rookie that wouldn't have an impact doesn't make sense to me.
The fact remains, there will be quarterbacks available in the draft from now until eternity. |

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
Yeah, Sanchez didn't have an impact. Stafford didn't have an impact. Eli didn't have an impact his first year. So on and so forth.

I don't know how you measure Stafford's impact, but I'm going with wins. And Sanchez had the best defense in the NFL, still he had a very uneven season. Look, I don't want to take anything away from those guys, but when you look at the QBs coming into this league on the whole, those you cited are the exception, not the rule. |

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
Thats a great point. Some people just will complain no matter what. I am not for or against it. Just take a wait and see approach. But I tell you this, I'll take McNabb over EVERY QB in the draft this season.

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
Good point. If it came down to Shanahan not wanting Campbell at all then I think this trade is better than drafting one of this year's QB's.

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
Interesting theory I think Mechanix had on using McNabb to move to #1 to get Bradford. Don't see it happening though.
Major props to Jay Glazer for being on top of this. He's one of the best in the biz. I shouldn't have doubted him. I don't know yet how I feel about this. I have a great deal of respect for McNabb, but I'm concerned that this could mean good-bye for Sexy Rexy! Seriously though, I think McNabb has two to three strong years left in him. And hopefully here he'll get the run support he didn't get in Philly. I gotta think they're still looking at a QB toward the later rounds though. I'm not usually too surprised by moves the Redskins make since I generally get a heads up on things that are brewing. I would say, with very little hesitation, that I have never been as surprised about a Redskins move in the last 10 years as this one. So, do we like this better than getting Cutler last year?

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
Very much. Now all we have to do is sign T.O and our offense will be set.
