Oh well, thanks I guess!!
No shame in it. I mean people talk all the time about being true fans and all but the fact of the matter is following sports is emotionally draining unless you're a Lakers fan. I thought about turning it off but to be honest I just wanted to at least see how they started the third and suddenly they scored once, then 50 seconds later, then Captain America with the assist on the GTG. OT was pretty tough.

Well I only got to catch the good part of the game. Turned it on right after Semin scored and watched the rest of the coronary inducing content. As far as I am concerned we dominated! Haha

NY looked dog-ass tired out there towards the end. The Caps just play so deep and they won on youth and legs tonight in the end.

Neuvy went from goat to hero too.

Playoff hockey feels like one long game-winning drive. So stressful.

Man why can't I remember the Semin goal. I know I saw it and remember people talking about Semin choking this, Arnott isn't a leader, OV chokes, BB is fat, soft team, no heart, GMGM's an idiot, you know a normal Caps game. However I can't remember for the life of me what happened on that Semin goal.

Wow...what a comeback. I'm kicking myself for tuning out after the 2nd period.

The Caps are truly becoming a serious inspiration to some of our longtime committed Redskins fans. A great come from behind DOT victory last night to take a commanding lead against a real quality team.

Great game last night but hockey could never replace football for me. Not even close.

Caps are one period of great defensive hockey away from going to the second round! This series has been awesome to watch.

Re: Washington Capitals 2010-2011 ongoing thread

great game yesterday, caps are kicking ass. i'm so glad those pussy ass rangers are heading home with their heads low. they played some of the dirtiest hockey i've seen the caps go against all year. i kept wanting the caps to turn around and drop kick averys punk ass into the stands, but they kept their composure and stayed focused. this is gonna be a fun ride, i feel pretty confident they will win the division just not sure they will get the cup.

Yesterday I think I heard them say the earliest possible game was Friday.

Boston/Montreal, Pitt/Tampa, and San Jose/LA are all candidates to go to game 7 with wins by trailing teams in tomorrows contest. Chicago has done the impossible and come back after being down 3-0 to Vancouver forcing a game 7 on Tuesday. Also if Buffalo wins on Tuesday we will know our 2nd round opponent.

Either way this is shaping up to be an awesome postseason. Though I can't believe I switched it the boring New Orleans/Laker game when Chicago scored the Game Winning Goal in OT. That Presidents Trophy is a curse I tell you. A CURSE.

Thanks guys. Also, if Buffalo wins and the other teams are still playing we will wait for them to finish up right?

I'm with Rob. Everything I've read has said Friday at the earliest. If one of tonights 3 games results in a Game 7 then the series finale will be held on Wednesday. Philly/Buffalo and Vancouver/Chicago Game 7's as said before will be on Tuesday.
