^ and before I get blasted....

I know Luck did come out after the half and threw several TD's and won the game. That does show he is capable of making adjustments and over coming diversity. I'm just saying Dalton showed 4 quarters of poise. Am I biased towards Dalton maybe. I was simply trying to see what college games was on flipping channels and watched the game. I came away impressed with him. I hadn't even heard of him until I watched the game and when I decided to talk about him on the message boards I found several message boards already had threads about him.

Hey genius. Look up the word VALUE in the dictionary.

Suggesting that we trade the number 10 pick in the draft for a second and third round pick is a clown shoes idea.

It's hardly even worth responding to because it is such an absurd comment.

According to the standard draft value chart here, the #10 pick would be worth the first two picks of the second round plus a mid-round pick from the third round.

So, yes, we should get more than a #2 and a #3 for our pick at 10.

Then why do it?

I believe NE has 2 2nd round picks correct? So we would obtain their 2 2nd round picks, and their 3rd... How is that not value?

Maybe I made a typo on my original comment. I'm to lazy to go back a few pages and check though..

Keep in mind this draft is generally weaker then last years class due to the fact that more players came out early in hopes of avoiding the rookie salary cap as well as getting a year in before the Lockout. This year free agency is where teams will find the most talent.

Unfortunatly you have to have a willing partner who wants to trade with you. So the next question is what do you see as a major need for NE and will there be a player at #10 that they just have to have or he goes to another team or rival?

The problem is I just don't think NE has ever been panick stricken enough to want to throw away draft picks like that. Usually they are the ones trading away 1 pick for a ton. So although I like the theory a heck of a lot I just don't see NE doing something like that unless they are extremely hard pressed, which is why I'm asking what position they have a drastic needed player for?

I don't think they are hard pressed with their record and the way they've been playing. Darth Hoodie must have sold his soul to the devil because he could find talent in a cesspool at the bottom of a dumpster.

If the Redskins finished in last place in the NFC East, how do the Cowboys get the number nine pick?

Here we go again. Strength of schedule. Both are 6-10, then they look at all the teams played by both (ie; teams both played), then they look at the teams strength of the opponants of which were not played by both teams. Due to the 4 opponants Dallas played who's strengths were better then the 4 teams the Skins played Dallas gets the #9 spot.

Basically Dallas won by like .5 of a point or something like that.

Well it's something you kind of can't see coming. Each schedule is predetermined after the regular season ends each year. Every team plays 6 divisional games, 1 out of conference division (for us an AFC division), one in conference division, and the final 2 opponents are in conference opponents determined by where you finished in the division.

We played the same 14 teams as they did, including us/them twice, and their final 2 games were first place teams from the two NFC divisions that we don't play this year, which were New Orleans and Arizona, while we played the Bucs and St. Louis, because they both finished last in their division last year. Since the NFC East played the NFC North division this year, that means the two opponents we played would be from the NFC West and South divisions.

That's why we had the harder strength of schedule, because both the Bucs and St. Louis became pretty good teams this year while the Cardinals hugely regressed and the Saints regressed slightly.
