Such a phenomenal talent... and such a knucklehead.
DJ=TO both of these guys are great players but headcases, I want neither one on the Redskins. They both share something in common besides huge egos, guess who their mentor was? Jerry Rice. I know a lot people like him, but you know what? He was a big punk like these 2 whining about not getting the ball, throwing coaches under the bus and obviously they've learned well.

T.O was worse IMO he used to call out his own QB and coaches, DJ is just cocky but he backs it up

I'm with you. I think that if DJ has not yet reached TO's status as a knucklehead diva, he will in time. Some folks never outgrow mindless arrogance.

Re: Around the NFL Week 11

I now know how to win in the NFL.

Step 1: Get a great defense and have a mediocre NFL QB with a great college pedigree.

Step 2: Have defense bail you out when your offense fails to score 20 points.

Step 3: Give all credit to QB and call him a winner.

This pisses off the defense and makes them play harder the next week. Wash, rinse, then repeat.

I finally understand.

Here is a certainty: DeSean Jackson will get older.

Here is something that is not a certainty: DeSean Jackson will mature.

There is a difference between aging and maturing...

I'll take D. Jack on the Redskins any day and especially on Sundays! I don't want the guy to babysit my kids, walk my dog, shovel my driveway or anything else that you may want a 'character guy' to do. We need a playmaker at a skill position and he's that. He's produced results, he makes defenses account for him, he causes holes in the secondary for others to account for. Have we had ANYONE on our roster who has done that in the past 25 years. I'll wait..

My Christmas list consists of 3 things. D. Jackson or V. Jackson in free agency. RGIII in the 1st round. A full offseason program for Helu to learn the system and learn to break tackles. Do that and we will actually have playmakers on offense unlike we have had in the past 25 years.

Because he's fluent in Portuguese and the Portuguese embassy is right down the road?

Re: Around the NFL Week 11

i still remember my first time seeing desean jackson in action.

it was some prospect HS/college game and the announcer just talked about him and how he has a high opinion of himself. moments later he tries to do a cartwheel at the endzone and drops the ball at the 1. god bless the man, atleast he knows who is he and wont change for the world. ps - wouldnt want him on this team unless he really convinces me that he wont want mo money in a few years after signing his mega deal with us.

Why not Bowe? IMO, DJax and VJax both tend to let their respective heads lose it at the worst moments and as a result, make it difficult for the team.

I'd be down for D. Bowe also. Just bring in someone that's a playmaker.
