Re: Redskins Offensive Line: 2012 Unsung Heroes
We DO need Fred Davis. And Paulsen is starting because the coaches feel he's earn it. He's not your typical TE, but he does a pretty good job. I don't see the Redskins drafting a TE. At least not until the later rounds. Niles Paul could develop into a solid TE.

Re: Redskins Offensive Line: 2012 Unsung Heroes
I would like to see the kind of competition at S that we have seen at RB and WR over the Shanallen years. Every off season, we bring in old & young RB's and WR's, and they duel it out in a best man win style.
We should be doing that with Safeties as well, but instead it feels like they get a guy, who is the guy, only he's not the guy they thought he was, so now we have no guy, and our defense ranks nowhere near our offense, where we have a guy who proved he was the guy by beating out the other guys who weren't that guy. make sense guys? :cheeky-sm |

I think he meant we don't need another Fred Davis

Pauleson been fine this year, in fact exceed expectations. Bring back Fred and continue to develop Niles (great special teamer), we will be fine.

Paulsen has earned his keeps and then some. Good back-up, mostly reliable.

Re: Redskins Offensive Line: 2012 Unsung Heroes
davis is the best option, i'm just saying, if someone wants to overpay him, there are two other guys we can get for less in FA that'd be fine. paulsen has been okay, but he's not a solid #1 pass catcher.

I wish Cooley would get in the mix. He hasn't caught one damn pass since returning.
