Get into the car this morning and radio tells me the AG of DC has a major announcement re Commanders

Get into work, espn tells me commanders used Brian Robinsons shooting as some kind of passive aggressive retort to the announcement.

Gesus krsit Jason Wright ... get your fucking people in order. Although I imagine he has no control over Dan Snyder's legal team.

edit -- this also the organization INJECTING their off the field noise into the locker room. By bringing up and linking Brian Robinson and having his agent making public comments ... now the locker room has to deal wit this shit.

RR and Jon Allen have tried to keep an airtight seal on the door between the locker room and the outside world and this isnt some agitator like Florio being the origin .. its us.

We need to keep all this in mind when discussing RR … He is in one hell of a spot trying to lead this team , if he can somehow win 9 games with this crap going on that will be amazing ..

Ideally, the sale goes thru by March and the new owner hires a real GM.

As much as Rivera frustrates the hell out of me sometimes, I still think he should get 1 more year to see how he can do with the fog of Snyder's shit out of the air and not having any GM roles.

Yeah it is just that he had a majority of losing seasons in Carolina and without Superman he probably would have been fired well before he was. Yes there is something to be said for blocking things out, but his time management, personnel decisions, and inability to ever be prepared for the start of a game really have nothing to do with dick head. Ill take a new HC if someone appealing comes along.

I wouldn't lose sleep if he was replaced. But I'd be OK with him getting 1 more year. Hopefully the new-car smell can wear off on the coaches.

He's just another Dan Snyder lackey. He is caught in the middle like most everybody, but I haven't saw very much from him to indicate that he is different than what has been put in here in the past.

Throughout Dan Snyder drama Commanders players have done a good job of trying to block it out, but Ive heard it's different now. Players are mad lawyers tried to use Brian Robinson, a rookie, in their rebuttal about business issues. Might not say it publicly but guys are pissed.

They should be pissed off. Everyone in the organization that wasn't a part of that statement should be.

What the fuck did they think was going to happen? Did they think the investigations would stop? There was everything to lose and nothing to gain by doing that. This team has so many losers that work for it.
