Re: BREAKING NEWS: Cerrato resigns (Bruce Allen hired as VP/GM) - merged
So who was in charge of personel in Oakland and Tampa when gruden & Allen worked together? Was there another key scout that they had in both places or was Gruden very involved in personel? I always thought Gruden was strictly a coach.

Gruden has always had a heavy say in personnel from what I understand. At least in Tampa.

Wow! I was up early before this news broke, took a nap, just woke up and this! Wow!
I like the move, I must say. I hope the next move is to sign JC, but let's celebrate this while we can. |

Give Snyder credit for being loyal to the redskins faithful. Hiring Gibbs and hiring George Allen's son keeps the Redskins tradition alive. Regardless of results, we can't say that Snyder doesn't try to keep the skins faithful happy (outside of the prices at FedEx)

Totally agree. We can question Snyder's methods and results, but never his motive and passion. |

Ding Dong! The Wicked Witch is dead. Wake up - sleepy head, rub your eyes, get out of bed. Wake up, the Wicked Witch is dead. He's gone where the goblins go, Below - below - below. Yo-ho, let's open up and sing and ring the bells out. Ding Dong' the merry-oh, sing it high, sing it low. Let them know The Wicked Witch is dead!

Mike Shanahan as head coach and Jim Zorn as QB coach before you shoot me guys think about it he has really developed Jason.
But I mean the stage seems set for Mike to come in |

Shanahan is very hands on with his QB's, he was once a QB coach himself, I'm not sure there would be room for Zorn.

If it's a WCO the changes won't be significant.
