his sources were correct. the ravens just decided to draft a TE instead of trading for one.
His sources were expecting a trade and were guessing it was for a 3rd rounder. Trade didn't happen nor was a 3rd rounder even a price worth considering. They were wrong on both counts.

No one can go around saying "We expected a trade to happen, but it didn't happen, so we were right, a trade did happen" and expect to be taken seriously.

What was the Red Snapper's overall Madden rating...., JLC's is worse.

C'mon dude every d-coordinator in the NFL knows how to best use Al's talent. It just so happens our coaches believe in their superiority so much they've convinced themselves they can create a better defense not built around the best defensive player, as opposed to building around him. This is Shanny/Haslett saying "our scheme is so fantastic we can under-utilize the very best and get the best result."

...I'll be shocked, truly shocked if they succeed.

What are you on about? This is a Hall of Fame caliber head coach making a statement that me first prima donna behavior is over at Redskins Park. No matter how good you are. Period.

All schefter did was report what shanahan told him. shanahan was negotiating with the titans. the titans wanted to send us a 3rd. we wanted a second. so shanahan told schefter we werent trading haynesworth to strengthen our position and do damage control in the event we couldnt trade haynesworth. the way all this played out only confirms to me that when it comes to the skins, schefter is never going to tell us anything shanahan doesnt want us to know.

JLC on the other hand, reported information that was 100% accurate, even though it was incomplete.
No, he said the Skins were trying to trade AH - and the insinuation from JLC was always that it was the Skins who were initiating the discussions and/or seeking a trade patnter. Instead, the Skins didn't initiate discussions and rather, as Smoot said, were simply picking up the phone and listening to other teams talk. JLC reports were at best speculation being reported as fact based information and at worst intentionally disengenous.

Great effing question! I cannot wait to watch our running game next year! It is obvious that we are already commited to stuffing it down people's throats!

I am so happy with the unspoken message that can be interpreted with our draft!!

Two tackles, a guard and a nasty blocking tight end!!! Time to run downhill!!!!!

I think it's still open for the same reason that we still have 3 or 4 "Campbell to Oakland" threads open - Today was obviously the annual Mod Skip day. They all went to the amusement park or SeaWorld or something.

This may or may not be TMC:
