Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.
No it was better in the other thread because I just fell for it today! The ones that are their own thread are easy to spot. In my defense i read it today and was not thinking April Fools day anymore.

Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.
yes I totally fell for it...In my defense I read it on April 4th so I was no longer in April Fools day mode. I am relieved at least that its not true...

Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.
I think the 49ers will pick Quinn instead of Newton, he won't fall to #10, Newton probably will.

Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.
Newton won't get past 5 and the 49ers need Secondary help badly. Peterson is also viewed as a better prospect.

Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.
Browns and Niners are certainly our biggest challengers for Quinn

Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.
According to a few peeps in the know on another site, Locker is not rated in the top 10 by the Redskins. Don't count on the Skins drafting him at the #10 slot.
Also this. “Most teams” don’t have first-round grade on Jake Locker | ProFootballTalk Quote:

These days the only way that QB's slip to the second or third round are either concerns about intangibles or injury problems. And I still say that one way or another the Redskins will get him in the first round.

Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.
Yeah, his name keeps popping up but, why? I read in USA Today's Draft Review that he didn't have a sack in his last 6/7 games at Missouri. What reason(s) makes him a top 10 talent?

Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.
I think he had a broken foot. I would like to trade back and pick up more picks and still take him but if we can't/don't trade back I think his upside paired with Orakpo at OLB will be a thing to deal with.

Re: 2011 NFL Mock Draft thread.
I'm sick of seeing Locker in burgundy and gold so.... (Picture Jake Locker photoshopped here)
And instead of a photoshopped picture of Locker how about the better #10? You'd probably never guess who I'm about to say. That's right... Colin Kaepernick. Anyone good with photoshop want to get one on here for me?
