Re: 2013 Free Agents
You would think...unless he knows they'll franchise him, then he'll just resign..

Re: 2013 Free Agents
If he hits free agency probably gonna be highest paid safety in NFL. So not sure how realistic it is anyways.

Re: 2013 Free Agents
For those with connections, has the front office started developing its wish list for all anticipated 2013 free agents yet?

Some preliminary ideas, but very rough draft right now.

Re: 2013 Free Agents
I just looked some up by team, the skins look pretty good to be able to resign everyone, unless Sav Rocca and Rob Jackson get crazy offers from someone else. Cincinnati will be interesting to watch, they have alot of money to spend just to resign their own guys.
PFF has a great list of free agents by position and team. Danny Amendola for hands and speed? Not a great offseason overall for CB & LB free agents. |

Re: 2013 Free Agents
Sav is having MCL surgery in the offseason. He's all ours. Who wants a 39-YO punter coming off knee surgery?
WE DO. Sav Rocca is a beast.

Re: 2013 Free Agents
We may need to replace Fletch too. Seems he's thinking of retiring.

Re: 2013 Free Agents
I want to point out Seattle's amazing secondary. Their one guy who wasn't drafted by them in the past 3 years, was Brandon Browner. He was a CFL free agent. So my message to the Redskins is that they need to look at CFL stars and give them some tryouts.

Re: 2013 Free Agents
....seriously?...I'm talking about good players not STer's and role guys. We need to keep going towards CFL guys then.

It's a different game, has different skill sets and, in general, has talent that is just not up to NFL snuff. A handful of CFL players have what it takes to be a roster player in the NFL and most of those as only role players. Only a very few CFL guys are solid NFL starters and, even then, b/c of the differences in the game it is not particularly easy to find them. The Skins clearly scout the CFL and are willing to sign talent. If it was easy picking successful NFL talent out of the dross that is the CFL then everyone would do it. It's from 2010 - but here is the only list I could find. Recognize any of them? No? Think there might be a reason for that? Why CFL players head to NFL now - NFC West Blog - ESPN
