Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread

I have to agree with an earlier post, I think a lot of what we think look ridiculous, and seem gadgety, are thrown in there to really mess with the pass rush. You gotta admit, those ends not only looked confused but would attack aggressively a lot of times on plays that weren't even happening. I can't count how many times the ends curled back to the running back or flanked out wide just to have Griff blow past them or turn with the ball and make a pass over the middle.

His plays may seem like gimmicks or mistakes at sometimes, but we just clowned some of the best pass rush in the NFL, to the point were they were not just physically exhausted, but mentally too. I loved when the Camera would be on JPP, Osi or Tuck, and they just looked dumbfounded like they had no idea how to stop or read whatever the hell it was that the Redskins where doing. Made me smile quite a lot.

By the way, I wish we could wear that uniform combo every week. Burgandy on gold is sweet.

DEAR GOD give credit where it is f'ing due! KS & MS have a scheme for their QB that, according to every single analyst paid to analyze football, has said "Wow! That's f'ing brilliant". Sure, RGIII drives it to perfection, but that's b/c KS & MS built it just for him.

We just put 200+ ground yards on the defending SB champions. On offense, we put a 2nd half drive together that ate up clock and scored a TD on a ridiculous play that, I bet, the Giants still haven't figured out. We then ran the ball down their gut and, thanks to doing so, pulled off a beautiful 20 yard play action that all but sealed the game.

Enough is enough. If the best you've got is "a handful of plays didn't work", please take that weak sauce someplace else to debate. I, for one, think it is B f'ing S.
playcalling was alot better last night... few shaky moments but thats just kyle... theres always a few head scratchers but overall, as a kyle basher, he is starting to get it IMO

I concur. I really like this kid Kai Forbath. Our first franchise kicker since Chip Lohmiller.

Trust me the Giants hold all the time and the majority were not called. In the first game it was their Center who would hold or grab jersey all day. Last night it was the Guards and Tackles. Especially on 3rd downs. Why the refs were not calling it I don't know.

By the way, a little something extra from our owner: Dan Snyder animated after Washington Redskins' win - NFL.com

I have to say, I like it. Good for you, Mr. Snyder.

That was a nasty knee injury suffered by Locklear.

FCKN-A!!

Great great win last night. First off...

GREAT GAME HASLETT!! Ya I said it. No secondary and no pash rush and we still hold them to 16. Bend don't break, clamp down in the red zone and make them kick FGs. The defense we saw last night is as good as it gets with this squad. The guy is cooking with rotten ingredients but produced one delicious meal last night. Full props.

KS - Put this guy in the canon too. Awesome. Did you see the formations and playfakes we were running at them?? The guy uses formations I couldn't even dream up in Madden. 4 guys in the backfield, pistol options, trips sets, etc. etc. etc. Granted RG is fantastic at the play fake but let's give KS credit here. The offense looks state-of-the-art.

Pigskins for President.

Cobra Kai - Ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssstraight thru the uprights.

Amen brother. My thoughts exactly (with a couple tweaks)...

Re: Giants at Redskins Post Game Thread

I gotta agree with the CrazyCanuck, while Kyle's scheme's seemed a bit off at times, the Giants Defensive End's rarely had any idea what the heck was going on. The plays may look goofy but I can imagine standing there ready to blitz and being like "wait, RB, FB, and a WR surround the QB and there are 3 TE's... who do i chip? Who to I drop to cover for, wait am I blitzing, which one of these guys is gunna' pick me up.... well none of them did last time, so what does that mean on this play?" Meanwhile, small motion by Paulsen who goes back to his original spot, a quick hike and Morris sticking his helmet in my chest.

Me getting up whit Al-Mo standing half on top of me.... "What the hell just happened?" and hearing First down Alfred Morris on the speakers.

And he was overheard saying it, so it isn't like he's out there trash talking or making quotes about our opponents, unlike the owers of the two teams we just beat. And given the salary cap sanction, it is entirely natural for him to feel that way about the Giants.
